I enjoyed the characters and how the plot played out. I appreciate that Alaska's kind of trauma was chosen to be what it was. Trauma comes in all shapes and I like that this was different from what usually happens in her situation.

The Refuge is even more amazing that I had thought when first introduced to it. I hope something like that actually exists and if not, it should.

The narrators did a great job of bringing the story and characters to life. <3

I eagerly await my return to The Refuge.

I had so much fun with this book. The imagery is wonderfully written. The humor makes me laugh out loud. and as a bonus it doesn't have the teen angst that so many books featuring teenagers/young adults has. I look forward to more!

The voice actors did a great job of bringing the book to life!

I am really picky about my young adult books, because some have too much drama and that annoys me. This book, however, does not. It is wonderfully written and hard to put down. I loved the growth that Athlen and Tal go through. I hope to see Dara again, if there are more books in this realm. It would be fun to see what happens with the siblings and if the Sea Witch is ever part of the bargain again.

F.T. Lukens is a new author to me, but I will definitely seek them out again. The narrator, Kevin R. Free, was also new to me, but I enjoyed his different voices and inflection that brought the story to life.

this is my first book by Emily Carmichael and first for narrator Barbara Rosenblat. the storyline is fun, the characters believable and wonderfully brought to life by the narrator.

i definitely recommend this book. there is a lot of snark, but that's all part of the fun.

Fun addition to series

I loved Koren's personality. Taco's and her interactions are fun and real. Great addition to the series. It was fun to see the drama involving one of the guys for a change and I liked how Koren commented on that.

I thoroughly enjoy this series and the other connected series. The hardest part is waiting for the next one.

Erin Mallon does a fantastic job narrating this story. She has emotion and inflection that brings it all to life.

I normally love the heroine who is constantly strong, but Parker reminded me of me. Strong in one situation and insecure in the next. I love how she got stronger as time went on and recognized that in herself.

Knox is a great character. I most enjoyed when he noted how he has all this romance book knowledge, yet there are still things he doesn't see. He is a staunch supporter of the romance genre and isn't afraid to defend it. I love that he could get one of Parker's brothers to see what it is all about as well. ;) That was a nice touch.

The narrators did a wonderful job of bringing the book to life. I have enjoyed both separately and am happy that I enjoyed them together as well.

Great story. Audiobook chapter issue.

I enjoyed this story a lot. Great second book to the series. I love how there is more nods to romance readers. I look forward to book 3. I was expecting more drama than there was, but am glad there was less. I am not a big fan of much drama anymore. This story flowed very well.

The narrators did a wonderful job of bringing the characters to life! Will gladly listen to them separately and together.

The audiobook is missing chapter 21 and chapter 23 is repeated. chapter 21 gives you more insight into Ian and Weston's partnership as well as Ian's character.
Still happy this story has an audiobook, though. I laughed in so many places.

wow. just wow.

This was a new author to me, but wow. I enjoyed this book so much. I laughed and loved with the characters. So much chemistry. The twist with the hero being a female pen name romance author drew me in, but the character development had me not putting it down. I look forward to another book by Claire Kingsley.

I enjoyed this book as much as I hoped I would. Quinn and Driftwood have great chemistry and some both are strong, they are not perfect. They have to work together to make it work and it's wonderful to see.

The narrator, Stella Bloom, continues to be great. I love listening to her voice.

As it has become with Susan Stoker's books, I will be waiting, impatiently, for the next one.
