Poor Reader after Chapter 7

The readers up to Chapter 7 are easy to listen to and tell a beautiful story, however; Chapter 7 introduces a reader who clearly forces a faster presentation. It’s so obvious that he’s rushing through the text and makes grasping the storyline very difficult. Content is repetitive. Very disappointing.

Interesting but Hard to Listen To

Mr. Low gives us good insight into the lives of the palace’s “men in gray.” With that, we learn about the personalities and management style of the Royal Family. The only problem with the audiobook is Mr. Low’s narrative. His British accent makes it hard to decipher words and he speaks quickly, making it even more difficult. A professional reader would have done a much better job.

Save Your Credit

There are some interesting chapters but they’re few and far between. Harry’s (failed) attempt at convincing others that he’s deserving of pity for living his very privileged life. Too much, Harry. The baby talk (Gan Gan), his private parts. Self serving, narcissistic and bizarre. Go away, Harry, and return the credit I wasted on your pitiful book.

Beautifully Written and Performed

I was mesmerized. Every word, every emotion drew me in. I felt every conflicted emotion in Jefferson, the love-hate relationship Sally found herself in. There are so many levels to this performance. Beautiful!
