Pretty much rants from a statistician...
Revisado: 10-19-19
... w/ only superficial understanding of psychology, and even less interest or concern for mechanism. Too pompous, arrogant, and yes BIASED to be entertaining, except for like-minded self declared profets!! Ha, ha! He does illustrate his own thesis that common sense isn't that common! Deleted the book from device, LOL.

Historia
From the New York Times best-selling authors of America's First Daughter comes the epic story of Eliza Schuyler Hamilton - a revolutionary woman who, like her new nation, struggled to define herself in the wake of war, betrayal, and tragedy. In this haunting, moving, and beautifully written book, Dray and Kamoie used thousands of letters and original sources to tell Eliza's story as it's never been told before - not just as the wronged wife at the center of a political sex scandal but also as a founding mother who shaped an American legacy in her own right.

thoroughly enjoyed it
Revisado: 06-28-18
Dray and Kamoi did it again by painting a credible and deeply personal view of one of the most influential figures of the American experiment! Too rarely we hear from the women who lived through and made possible the revolution and this is a deeply engaging and intimate portrayal! Told through the honest, thoughtful, and compassionate eyes of Mrs. Hamilton, almost 100 years of history come to life, and we learn that much has changed in the way of social mores and daily comforts but much more has remained the same in the way of politics and human nature.

Enjoyed every moment
Revisado: 11-26-17
Moving fast through mostly accurate historical events that shaped the US, tells the story of a founding father through a woman's eye; a woman who is idealistic and pragmatic, having to meet her purpose in an era devoid of birth control, when half the women died in child birth, and many men were victims of violence, alcohol and uncontrollable diseases. The narrator is exceptional, rendering each character recognizable with tones infused with defining attitudes and passions. Enjoyed every moment.

Dated and preachy
Revisado: 04-15-17
It may have been useful once; attempts to be inspirational but overuses 'always' and 'never', which on second thought....Overlooks the power of context; in my view, rather than thoughtful and instructive is preachy.
