Society’s free fall has begun. The people at the top were scrambling for power and to control the descent. Those at the bottom were dying. Or, they were looking to their masters to solve their problems abandoning their God given rights and liberties for a loaf of bread and the promise of safety. Then there were the obstinate, the uncontrollable, the refractory that were fighting back. These were the ones that everyone at the top has been trying to control.

Our way of life was rotting away in front of our eyes for decades before the violent collapse, but it was an inconvenient truth that no one wanted to address and only a few dared to speak of in private with close friends. It wasn’t discussed in the news, nor was it debated in the capital. It was ignored for as long as it could be until it couldn’t be ignored anymore.

Conflicting accounts

It’s a good story and well written. The only problem with that that I have is it in some of his other novels there is a difference between the ownership of the property in Hotel that they built the hotel, but it wasn’t from anybody that was in this novel except for stone And Mike Freeman. In other words two stories conflict with each other. Thank you.
