I bought this book solely on the preview, that’s how good Alex Finke is. This book was so good. Every character was well written. It was funny- even though it’s about loss. I loved this book! I could totally see this being a movie.

Slow start

Not sure if it was just me being in a slump, but this book started out slow. The second half was much better in my opinion. Luckily the narrators were so good, and kept me listening. Overall a good read.

I ❤️ Liane Moriarty

Seriously. She’s a genius. She understands humans in a such a way that it makes you connect with her characters and truly care for them. This book makes you just think about life. And as always Moriarty is quite funny.
I love Caroline Lee’s narration. Both narrators did an excellent job.

This was free on audible. It looked cute, I thought it was going to be a cute rom com-it was so much more. I LOVED this book, was obsessed. Sam and Daisy brought this book to life. Sweet, funny, heartbreaking so good.

Emily and Julia! Best combo ever. I loved this story. I love Emily Henry. I love Julia Whelan. I laughed. My heart hurt. I laughed again. And whoa if those daddy issues didn’t hit right exactly at home.

I accidentally found this book. Although I’m thinking now it wasn’t an accident because if Julia Whelan is narrating, then I’m listening. So it was probably in my recommendations or whatever.
I just fell in love with this book. I liked the characters, it was funny, it was sweet, sexy, and little emotional. I wish I had a little more time with them. I wish I didn’t devour it.
Julia is amazing as always.

Worth the wait.

I impatiently waited for this book. It was worth the wait. I love Emily Henry! Her writing is funny, emotional and just plain enjoyable. I love Julia Whelan period. She makes every book better. Great combo, I devoured this.

Honestly I’m never sure if I like the story, or if I just like Julia Whelan telling me a story. The story is good. I think I just wanted more of the Golden in it’s hay day. Julia is great as usual!

I love Liane Moriarty

I just love her. She is funny and all the little details, I just am so happy that she keeps in writing. This book was a good family drama, lots of fun twists and turns. It easily transfers back and forth through time. I laughed out loud, felt sad, and angry.
Caroline Lee is the reason I chose to get this book via audible. She is simply amazing. She brings the characters to life, her delivery is spot on.
