Historia
Bear Grylls is a man who has always sought the ultimate in adventure. Growing up on the Isle of Wight, he was taught by his father to sail and climb at an early age. As a teenager he found identity and purpose through both mountaineering and martial arts, which led the young adventurer to the foothills of the mighty Himalaya and a grandmaster's karate training camp in Japan.

Historia
Why are some people and organizations more innovative, more influential, and more profitable than others? Why do some command greater loyalty from customers and employees alike? Even among the successful, why are so few able to repeat their successes over and over? People like Martin Luther King Jr., Steve Jobs, and the Wright Brothers might have little in common, but they all started with why.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
It's incumbent on a book titled "How Great Leaders Inspire Everyone to Take Action" that the book itself should in someway inspire. I hardly made it into this before I felt compelled to listen to something else. Repetitive and un-inspirational. Maybe it was the read or the content. Regardless it was not for me.

Historia
From 1999 to 2009, U.S. Navy SEAL Chris Kyle recorded the most career sniper kills in United States military history. The Pentagon has officially confirmed more than 150 of Kyles kills (the previous American record was 109), but it has declined to verify the astonishing total number for this book. Iraqi insurgents feared Kyle so much they named him al-Shaitan ("the devil") and placed a bounty on his head.

Cuts through the political bs of Iraq
Revisado: 04-19-12
Who was your favorite character and why?
Chris is a guy you are going love or hate or possibly both in equal measure. In truth war is hell but if your there you want a guy like him covering your butt!
Chris spells out what war is for him and put simply it's killing bad guys so they don't kill you or your friends and family back home.
If you have preconceived ideas on the war in Iraq, the people fighting on both sides and what it is to be a Navy Seal then prepare to be challenged.
Have you listened to any of John Pruden’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
John Pruden's narration helps elevate the story even more.
