Wow! Another great character and another great series.

The only thing I don’t like about Mr. Akart’s books is halving to wait to read the next one in the series!!! He hooked me with the Lone Star series and since then can’t seem to get enough. Gunner Fox is one of his most interesting characters to date. Looking forward to reading more and soon!! (Texas Strong!).

Wow, I think I found a new favorite author. Great story and I can’t wait for book 2!!!!! I actually learned some things reading this book. Looked up a few just in case. Book 2 is pre-ordered and can’t wait till March! I may be a little biased about Texas but love this story so far, love the characters, and looking forward to more soon.

Oh, and I think I found my new favorite narrator as well.

I would recommend this book. It had a great story and very good characters. Different from other post-apocalyptic stories I have recently read. Looking forward to book 2.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

It was hard to imagine what it would be like to be Sam.

Different Take On Post -Apocalyptic Novels.

Where does Driver 8 rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It was nice to get a different look at post-apocalyptic books. The story was good and characters are good. Looking forward to book 2 when it comes out.

What about Guy Williams’s performance did you like?

I have to be honest. It took me some time to get used to Guy Williams's performance. It was different than some of the others. By mid-book, he grew on me.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend. It was a great story and I loved most of the characters. We all know which one we don't like and it isn't a bad guy. :) I can't wait until L.L. Akers gets book 3 out, soon right Lisa? No naps! :) (Kidding)

What was one of the most memorable moments of Shoot Like a Girl?

If I tell you it may give it away... but I have two. One is when Grayson finally finds out who Jenny is... the best part is F'ing Puck and something that he does...

Have you listened to any of Kevin Pierce’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I love Kevin Pierce. Not in a gay way but in that brotherly way. maybe not even in that way. I don't know him but his voice and his reading performance rocks.

What The Puck? Great Characters and Story!

Where does Fight like a Man: A Post Apocalyptic Thriller rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I really enjoyed her first book. I think this one has to be in the top 3 series that I have listened to based on of the characters and storyline. I am really looking forward to book number 2 coming to audible soon.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Fight like a Man: A Post Apocalyptic Thriller?

For some reason, I loved the interaction between Grayson and Puck. Without giving anything away I am so looking forward to the moment Grayson finds out Jenny is not who he thinks she is.

What about Kevin Pierce’s performance did you like?

Just like every series I have heard Kevin Pierce narrate, he did another great job on this book.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When we hear the story about Grayson having to choose between his wife or daughter in a flashback memory and the letter he wrote to Gracie.

Hoping audible gets off their butts and gets book 2 out so we can continue the story!!!!

First Lead Character I Wished Would Just Die

Is there anything you would change about this book?

For the first series in this set, the ending seemed to get rushed. Would like to see another book maybe that goes into rebuilding? The second series in this set, I really have to say, this is the first time I wished a lead character would just die. Wren was annoying, stuck up, and too into herself. I am hoping that is how the author meant her to be because if it was, then he nailed her character.

Would you be willing to try another book from James Hunt? Why or why not?

I would try other books as well. The story was good and entertaining. For those that complained that it was unrealistic, well, this is fiction after all.

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

The narrator's of both book series all did a good job. It took some time to get used to switching between 2 different styles on the same series but I like them.

Could you see Lights Out Super Boxset: EMP Survival in a Powerless World being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

Not really sure. Maybe a TV mini-series?

As I had mentioned the main character was a giant witch with a capital B. I am hoping that is how the author intended? This was the first time I have actually hoped the main character would get knocked off. As I went through the book I actually felt sorry for any male character that had to deal with her. In real life, I wouldn't blame Doug for doing what he did.
