I meet an intriguing man at Quinton’s annual Halloween Extravaganza. That wicked smile and the tawny-brown eyes behind his mask hold my gaze. Under his costume, the restless energy of his body promises to do explosive, unexpected things to me. So we indulge in a little fun, but when the clock strikes midnight, the man I know only as Rayne disappears into the crowd.

An intriguing short for a future couple 🙌🏼
Revisado: 04-13-25
It was the first audiobook which was soo short 🏃🏽♀️➡️ Fast burn rarely work for me so I wasn’t surprised when some kind of “foreplay” before their one night stand wasn’t enough for me BUT I was left curious about the couple and would like to read more. When and how will they meet again and what will be their HEA?
The narration by Michael Dean was good :) I immediately got back into Mission City when I started listening to it and it was really comforting for me.

Dragons with Oxford background were a beautiful picture ✨
Revisado: 02-11-25
It was an interesting start of the series and I’m intrigued enough to read the rest sometime. I enjoyed getting to know a grumpy librarian and his future mate :) The side characters were well developed as well. Dragons were detailed, realistic and beautiful 🐉 Oxford as a background was a delight!
What is more, the story itself was interesting, with plot twists I wasn’t really expecting, which is always a good surprise when reading a first book by a new for me author. Spice was good too :)
I’ve been listening to an audiobook version and from the beginning an accent helped me to really dive into the whole British experience 🙌🏼 but.. I straggled to distinguish between POVs. Both MCs seemed like the same person, which was unfortunate, especially because there was switching between characters inside the chapters so it was really difficult for me to keep track of who is doing/thinking/talking at the moment. However, I finished the book and liked it all the same.
So, yes, 3⭐️ as an overall impression.

One more delicious romance in a small package
Revisado: 11-29-24
One more book by Lily to add to my favorites list 💛 I’m so glad I decided to wait for audiobook to be released before reading this novel for the first time! 😍 I loooove Lily Morton’s books for their charming British atmosphere, humor, chemistry between MCs, sweet HEA and good written characters and story as a whole! 💫 Joel Leslie has done a great job enhancing all that ☺️
Slow burn, age gap, best friend and ex’s friend tropes, lots of misunderstanding, pining, hot seduction and finally being together.. all that in a good paced relatively short story 👍🏼
Definitely recommend!

Very touching story
Revisado: 11-22-24
I finished the audiobook in one sitting. Michael Lesley done a good job and I really enjoyed listening to his narration as always! ✊🏼
It was a first book by Michele Notaro for me and I was surprised by how good it was written (it is always unexpected and very pleasant to find new authors with good books). I couldn’t turn the recording off and done pretty much everything with it on the background that day :)
New world building, fae, werewolves, prejudices, homelessness, cold winter and very talented musician who is trapped because of his promise. And his soulmate who is ready to do anything (very gently) to coax him from his shell and prove that he is enough and deserves all the love. It was heart warming and touching 💛 I love books about incredible but very insecure people 😅 Because reading about their “I’ll give you everything I have” parters is very therapeutic.
There are some really heartbreaking things though, so I’ll warn you about ‘forced’ passing of side characters. I don’t want to be spoilery and it’s usually not an issue for me but this time my heart cracked a bit ❤️🩹

Revisado: 10-30-24
I liked the narration a lot and I finished the book willingly which is a compliment in itself :)
3 ⭐️ for the story and 5 ⭐️ for narration.
It’s a double bi-awakening and I reeally like this trope so I couldn’t resist reading Melting The Ice! Forced proximity with sport players and sexy nerds thrown into the mix? Yes, it was a perfect combination for me right now 😁
And SIZE difference!! Looooved how big Dean was! Even though Brody is not small either 😃 Gentle giant awwwww I love him 🥹
I don’t know how the book feels when you read it yourself but when Darcy Stark read it for you.. Oh boy, it was good. Sooo good 🤭 Even not smut parts were hot at times 🔥
I loved Brody’s parents who were soooo sweet and loving; the coaches who intrigued me (I’m going to read a book about them too when it comes out) and hockey games (just because I understand it better than football which was there too).
I loved the very veeery end of the book, the call and sorta HFN.
And I want to read the book about Brody’s best friend. He is a wild card, I need to see how he finds his love too.

Unexpectedly cute!
Revisado: 10-07-24
A surprisingly sweet story of a shifter and a vampire. Even more surprising was to see what a cinnamon roll that vampire was 💕 It’s a review on the audio version and the voices for all characters were perfect! I immediately pictured Bowie & Andras and immersed myself into the book.
Honestly, I expected a totally different experience even though I’ve read the blurb :)
The future couple is going on a mission to save kidnapped kids. Will those kids be alive? Where are they? What is happening to them while they’re there? Despite the suspense of those questions all in all it’s a looow angst and heartwarming book! Even though the people who Andras lived with were morons 😑
The ending was perfect for them, oblivious but hopeful till the end, cozy and full of promise 💛 HEA for the couple.
It is not a common thing: I loved side characters as much as MCs ☺️ The families are very lovable indeed! Supportive, kind and understanding. And entertaining too :) I felt at home with them myself. Loved them!

Nothing says you can’t steal a heart. Keeping it though? That’s another problem. Wade Espinoza knows a thing or two about hoards. As a dragon, he’s got plenty. What he doesn’t have is a relationship, and he swears he’s not looking for one. But when he’s sent to Boston to answer a cry for help from another pack, he’s drawn into a mess of fae bargains centered around a selkie who Wade instantly becomes obsessed with.

Loved the narrator and the book!
Revisado: 09-14-24
It was double first for me :) Gary Furlong is going to my list of favorites. Great acting, emotions, it was fun!
It was a bit hard in the beginning to understand who is who because it’s a first Hailey Turner’s book I am reading. I’m definitely going to read the whole series which chronologically goes before this book (and would recommend it, honestly).
Loved selkie skin transformation idea and bottomless stomach! It’s always the little details that create the bigger picture and characters :)
Wade is quirky and badass; Riordan is steadfast and levelheaded. They are a good pair and I especially loved the beginning of their romance but also the end of the book where they got their HFN 🧡 Love me tender love me sweet is the mood for those two :)
Also loved how fast paced it was, a lot is going on and it wasn’t boring. The mini gastro tour I had together with MCs, fae & other supernatural politics, hidden identities and support of each other in their found and real families will also stay in my memory :)
I am glad I gave a chance to Hailey Turner as a new for me author :)

I'm young, carefree, and my job as the assistant to Holt, manager and owner of the Goliaths of Wrestling, means I'm surrounded by half-naked beefcake wrestlers all day. Of course, I'm going to be interested in… getting to know them all better. It would be, like, illegal for me not to lust after them all, right? There's just one hurdle I have to get over first before I can… get to know the wrestlers in the way I want. And that hurdle makes me really, really freaking nervous.

5 ⭐️ for audible version and 4.5 ⭐️ for the book 💜
I loved the book so much that I bought audiobook and reread it after I already read it twice 😁 Narration is faaabulous! I loved the book even more after I listened to it! The voices, the acting skills of the narrators! I added them to the list of my favorite - Michael Ferraiuolo and Liam DiCosimo ❤️🔥 Great work! Also since we meet Holt and Taylor here too, I realized that I love Holt’s voice soo much that I’ll listen to the first book as well 🙃
Clean Finish I liked more than Impromptu Match and it is my favorite of this series so far :) The first book was full of silly jokes and very specific kinky stuff and I was expecting something similar from the second one too. But Clean Finish has more sweet and classic relationship development :) I also love that the beginning overlaps with a part of the previous book so that we know what else happened before and after Holt’s copy machine incident 😄
We get to see a lot of pining, certain love lessons between MCs and dating (even though they don’t realize they do that) which doesn’t help Seb n his predicament with his feelings for Lark 💔 And it is not even a bit funny how far he fell already.
We get to know their super cool families, who are very cute in Lark’s case! I loved them on both sides though 🤗
It is light and low angst even with all the potential broken hearts and “using Seb to have all the wrestlers under Lark’s belt” situation.
I would say it is slow burn even though they start their physical relationship pretty early :)
Yes, Seb is werewolf and it influences their experience in bed eventually but the plot is focused on relationship and is not a werewolf smut some people might expect it to be. Just so you know.
They both have their own insecurities and fears and it was interesting and heart melting to see the process of their interactions to change 🤍
Lark seemed so confident and bratty in Impromptu Match and how shy and vulnerable he is here! Seb seemed so calm and collected and now we see his caring and passionate side too 💕
Loved crosswords, video games (reminded me of my own nostalgia for old game consoles), cooking and all the wings & tails 💗
Wondering now who will be next! Maybe the new IT man? Then who will he be with? 😏 Can’t wait!!

This Psych 312 assignment just might send me off the deep end. Determining whether love at first sight really exists with Robbie Moravian as my project partner of all people? He’s the sappiest man alive, so upbeat I could scream, and clearly rooting for happy endings at every turn. How does he not learn from experience considering our own meet-cute last semester almost got us expelled? But we both need to pass this course to graduate. So we’re interviewing five random couples about their meet-cutes and relationships and spending all this time together. Which is certainly...educational.

Revisado: 08-20-24
It was my first Dolby Atmos audiobook and I’ve listened to it mainly to see the difference 🎧 Wow.. I loved duet narration and sound effects that make you feel like you’re really there with characters of the book 😍
I also liked both narrators! They made the story believable and me wanting to finish the book :)
The story itself was a palette cleanser and a way to pass the time in a good way. It was lighthearted and I was invested in a slow burn between MCs 🤗
I’ll give 3.5 ⭐️ for book and 5⭐️ for this (and my first of such sort) duet narration :)

Charlie Renfrew is too busy and too broke for a love life. There's no room in a schedule crammed with university, a full-time job, music, and his very committed relationship with overthinking. Hence the dating ban. Which is exactly when Ben Campbell shows up with his piercings, quirky knits, and indie rock fame. But maybe it's time for Charlie to trade caffeine for something hotter, blonder, and completely out of his comfort zone. Gorgeous, funny men don't happen to Charlie. Not like this. Even if it's ill-timed and too bloody complicated. But maybe a quick shag won't hurt . . .

Revisado: 08-10-24
2.75 rounded up to 3 ⭐️ I had to listen till the very end to make sure I’m right. Narrator was good, I enjoyed his British accent and it was the only thing that made me continue, I guess 😅🙈
It’s not quite boring but.. I was tired of back and forth between MCs. I understand and can relate with Charlie’s anxiety disorder, though, so his way of thinking and impulsiveness is justified for me. Yes, it’s hard sometimes.
I just wanted maybe more.. anything really! Not just his anxiety and insecurities 😐 Music, relationship development, his kid, some more concrete situation with his parents (can’t figure out if he understood that he deserves better and decided to spend less time with them, at least). Just too many topics that didn’t feel finished 🤷🏻♀️
