My favorite series in the genre so far!

So I come from reading science fiction and fantasy. I am a hopeless romantic who enjoys when the guy gets the girl. That's how I ended up finding out about this erotica genre in the first place. The guy always gets the girl. And boy, do they.
While the story isn't a unique concept, the way it is written and portrayed was extremely enjoyable for me. Jay's female counterparts were all unique and interesting, and Mrs. Woods portrayal of each of them was beyond fantastic. She deserves an award just for being able to voice so many different women and doing it so damned well. It was this series that made me a diehard Rebecca Woods fan, and more than once I have simply bought a title based on her being the voice actress. Daniel is no slouch either and their team up is always a well acted endeavor.
This is very LitRPG with stats and more stats, but i didn't find it all that bothersome. But on top of the stats, you also get sexy fun times, and that just makes this all the better.
This is book one of the series and it introduces the basis of the story and David Burke really does a decent job of putting the story together. I enjoyed the way he did the LitRPG parts and never found it boring or repetitive. I really enjoyed Jay's character as he was written and I felt like he was a good guy and a decent Main Character, someone you could respect and not roll your eyes with half of the things he does. So kudos to you Mr. Burke.
Ten hours was a bit short for my investment, and I originally only tried it because of the VA's, but I have bought more books in the series, so I obviously thought it was good enough for further investment. One of the better MC's to be written in the genre, and a well written adventure.

Excellent Beginning

Atlas Kane once again comes through with a series that brings a wonderful new world to the readers along with a great cast of characters.
The story flows well, and I found myself invested in the journey as it moved along at a decent pace. The cast of characters, as is always true with an Atlas Kane book, will drive the story forward, and help you feel as if there is a living world as it isn't just the main character who grows and becomes stronger.
This genre is an interesting one, part erotica and part fantasy story. Every person who comes to this genre has one thing or another that they are looking for, and certain requirements that need to be met in order to enjoy the audio book. I don't think it is possible for one author or performer to please everyone. But for me, Atlas Kane, Daniel and Rebecca are a perfect trio and I always enjoy them when the three meet for a project.
Daniel and Rebecca are some of the best performers in the genre and they do their normal phenomenal job here as well, Kane giving them a good story and world to work with, as per normal.
If you are looking for a new world to lose yourself in, with a great cast of characters, a good story and those sexy times that make this genre unique and fun, then you won't go wrong here.

A good fantasy tale with some sexy fun times

I am not one to leave reviews, but as this genre begins to grow ever larger, I have found myself looking at the reviewers that seem to share my taste in them to see what else they have enjoyed. So, I decided maybe I should start leaving my own reviews in case others do the same. So with that, onto the review!
If you are looking to enjoy a good fantasy story along with some sexy fun times and a world with characters that evolve around the main character, then you won't go wrong investing into this box series.
I have now delved into this genre myself over the last couple of years, and I have to admit that I can be quite picky about finding a main character that I can root for, and a story that really gets me invested. This series was something that I heartily enjoyed from the female characters, to the excellent supporting cast of characters that grew alongside the main character and weren't just another potted plant on a shelf, to a real fantasy story that made sense as it unfolded. And the entire story reaches a good conclusion as well and I was quite satisfied with the ending.
While the premise of the book won't break any new ground, it was done very well, and not once did I find myself wondering why something was happening. I was rooting for both the main character and the supporting cast as well.
The sexy bits were fun to listen too and the fighting was well written and descriptive enough to really let you enjoy the scene. The writing also seemed to flow very well for audio, without all the jarring "he said/she said" type of grammar that while in written form is fine, in audio it tends to rip you out of the immersion.
As to the audio, the performers were quite excellent, and I enjoyed both of them, and I will be looking into more work from the both of them. The male performer especially really nailed the different characters, and since those characters were written so well it really just makes his performance shine.
You can't go wrong investing a credit here, and if this genre is something that you truly enjoy, the Savage Ascension series would be worth the cost to purchase outright as well.
Mr. Kane did an excellent job here and is one to watch in this genre.

I really enjoy romance and books that include training and character growth. This book was spot on. It was enjoyable throughout, and Andrea is the most incredible and talented narrator in the business, bringing this book's characters to life.
