Slow moving book.
Revisado: 01-22-22
It was a slower moving book than others by This author. I was board at
times. I will try one more in this series. The lack of Desil the cats antics detracts from the story line.

Love - and murder - are in the air.
It took Joe Grey’s human, Clyde Damen, nearly forever to pop the question to his girlfriend, Ryan Flannery, and what more romantic time to tie the knot than on Valentine’s Day? But dark secrets from the past soon threaten to destroy everyone’s happiness. First, a body discovered many miles away reopens a 10-year-old cold case involving a man who disappeared days before his own wedding. Then another body is found closer to home, on the grounds of a ruined estate, deserted save for a band of unusual feral cats.

Historia
Nestled quietly on the Pacific Coast below San Francisco, Molena Point is a quaint hamlet - not the kind of place an escaped convict would choose for a hideout. But it just happens to be the home of a state's witness who put a thief named Cage Jones behind bars - until he broke out, that is. With danger closing in, the feline detective Joe Grey, his girlfriend Dulcie, and their tattercoat friend Kit must put paws and whiskers together to capture a very nasty criminal before he strikes again.

Great magical story
Revisado: 11-08-21
Please, Please Please get a better narrator. He makes the surly tom cat sound like a spoiled
rich brat for the turn of 19th to 20th century in country estate. It
England. He can't pronounce the
villiage the story takes place in or
characters correct name's. The audiobooks charm may have stopped me from listening to theses magical , mysteries if I hadn't first read every one except
the last two. That I have both read & listened to. I would recommend this series of books to anyone & have. My thanks to Shirley Russo Murphy for sharing
her much treasured book with me & countless others. Be well
knowing you have entertained
so many.

I truly enjoyed the lovey magical
mystery. I'm sad there won't be another. No author has the understanding of cats and their
fielineality wether or not they can
speak. Thanks Shirley for writing
all the wonderful books you. I
hope you write a few shot stories
now and again. So many of us will
miss your story telling abilities
I read a great many books , yours have a magical quality no other author can touch. all my best to

Joe even wonders whether the blonde who's moved in next to his human companion Clyde could be a part of the gang - she's been acting pretty suspicious lately. But when the strangers start trapping and caging feral cats it proves too much for Grey. And when one of the gang is murdered, and a second mysterious death comes to light, he has no choice but to try and stop the crimes.

Don't let the poor choice in narrator spoil this
Revisado: 11-04-21
The narrator was beyond horrible
he mispronounced the names of
characters, horses. Even the village the story was taking place in. He made the central character
sound like an annoying jerk instead of of savy tom
cat. Please don't let the narration ruine this tale
read the book. I'm very sorry that this well krafted story was butchered by a narrator that was
unprepared & clearly didn't research the serries. I have read
the books for many years. Please do not hire someone that assassinated many characters in a
beautifully written story. I saddens me that some
people will not continue to read the rest of the serries. Please get another narrator. That has respect for the author, series and actually understands the characters. Good story. Bad narration!!!!!.

Loved it ! This is one of the darkest of her series. Thrilling
I would love to speak with Ms. S
Russo Murphy just to ask her how she has come up with 21
incredibly different stories that
are all winners. I never read a novel twice. Except the complete works of Sir Author
Connyn Doyle's Sherlock Holmes. All thought Doyle's writing credits are vast and not
all the same genra.

Historia
Even felines with such amazing talents as Joe Grey and his partner, Dulcie, need some down time. Using their amazing abilities to talk and read, they’ve helped their unwitting humans put bad guys away. But these clever four-footed detectives can’t possibly enjoy a little catnap, not when their lovely seaside village is in an uproar. It’s bad enough that Molena Point has been invaded by a famous writer and his suspiciously rude wife. Then the local yard sales set off a host of puzzling thefts.

Historia
While Joe Grey has played tricks on Max Harper, Molena Point's head lawman, he's never had anything but respect for the dedicated sheriff. Now Harper's in trouble, suspected of murdering two friends, and the only witness, a young girl named Dillon, has disappeared. Both Dulcie and Joe know Harper is innocent, and Joe is hissing to prove it - and find Dillon. Their sleuthing, however, is hampered by something soft and small - their new "ward," a vivacious kitten whose curiosity could get them all killed.

Historia
Ever since the earthquake, things have been going from bad to worse in Molena Point, usually the most tranquil little town on the North California coast. It started with that suspicious "accident" on Hellhag Hill. The police might write it off to the night fog, but Joe Grey knows a cut brake line when he sees it - he may be a cat, but he's already solved more murders than your average police detective!
