This story carries a believable science fiction-like future along with a good-paced story line. This is exactly what I like to hear during the course of my listening day. But I am getting a little tired of being inundated by woke-like culture, AND, there seems to be a trend in that all female written stories have to have a lesbian relationship. It is getting to the point where I won't even sample novels written by women because they have a tendency to work in this style no matter how good the story is. In most cases I don't think a relationship of that nature is even needed to carry the plot most times. it seems to be just personal gratification for the author.
