Historia
Gianni Russo was a handsome 25-year-old mobster with no acting experience when he walked onto the set of The Godfather and entered Hollywood history. He played Carlo Rizzi, and he didn't have to act - he knew the mob inside and out: from his childhood in Little Italy, where Mafia legend Frank Costello took him under his wing, to having to go on the lam after shooting and killing a member of the Colombian drug cartel in his Vegas club. Along the way, Russo befriended Frank Sinatra and Marlon Brando. Russo had passionate affairs with Marilyn Monroe and Liza Minelli....

What a life this marvelous man has led. Talk about living life to the fullest! This man has some testicular fortitude!! Bravo Gianni Russo for showing us mere humans what it takes to go after what you want....boldly and with unabashed gusto! Great story, Great book, Great Life! You should be proud Mr Gianni Russo and thank you for sharing your heart with us. It’s, at least by this reader and I’m sure countless others, greatly appreciated.

Historia
In early 2000, Adnan Syed was convicted and sentenced to life plus thirty years for the murder of his ex-girlfriend Hae Min Lee, a high school senior in Baltimore, Maryland. Syed has maintained his innocence, and Rabia Chaudry, a family friend, has always believed him. By 2013, after almost all appeals had been exhausted, Rabia contacted Sarah Koenig, a producer at This American Life, in hopes of finding a journalist who could shed light on Adnan’s story. In 2014, Koenig's investigation turned into Serial, a Peabody Award-winning podcast with more than 500 million international listeners.

Extremely Biased Book against Caucasian Americans
Revisado: 01-20-18
This author has an axe to grind against American culture, The American Justice System, and "White" Americans in general. She is an activist for "social change" (another way of saying to force traditional "white" Amercans to accept whatever and whoever along with their cultures whether we are inclined to or not.) I could go on and on about this woman's sociopathic rant against "white" Amercans whom she falls just short of calling us all outright racists. Several parts of this book disgusted me, especially when she talks about "setting up like a little Pakistan" mosques, bizarres, shops, etc...in or around her neighborhood so that the Pakistani immigrants can "feel the comforts and pleasures of home" while taking advantage of Americas " security and economic opportunities". I guess she doesnt realize that this is precisely what many "white" Americans find offensive about other "cultures" who come to live here. We "whites" would expect people who migrate here to honor and adopt OUR culture and the way we dress and so on as to become an intregal part of our whole society, not building "a little Pakistan" or whatever else within our Country and then circling the wagons around their own culture. She wants to spit in the face of our cultural norms as evidenced by her wearing a traditional head scarf at all times while in Public. Native born traditional American women do not wear such throwback head scarfs or garb because "we" dont believe in keeping our women "under wraps", "we" prefer to let the natural beauty of a woman shine through, not try to hide her beauty under ugly concealing clothing.
I dont know if her friend Adnan committed the murder of his ex girlfriend or not, but this author seems to think that "white" people framed him rather than the possibility that her friend really is guilty of the murder. This book bothered me on many levels as a proud "white" 57 year old American male.

Historia
Here's the inside story of Trump's legendary tirades, his convenient forgetfulness, and the infamous Donald Trump ego. O'Donnell tells how the Plaza staff catered to Trump's personal whims, and to those of his mistress - and how the man who built the largest gambling hall in the world knew little about running a casino. From the hypocrisy, bad deals, and the monumental debt to the untold tales of Marla and Ivana, Trumped! rips the mask off the mighty Trump facade - revealing a castle about to collapse.

A little too drawn out!
Revisado: 08-26-16
Though the writing and story are interesting, I found it exhasperating waiting for the rapist to finally get caught. On and on it went, rape after rape after rape, in chilling but repititive detail. I felt it just wasn't necessary to spell out every detail of every rape. The reader "gets the picture" of the type of creep we're dealing with after the first few rapes. I just wanted him to get caught already!!!

A Fascinating Page Turner
Revisado: 08-05-16
Exceptionally well written and equally well performed, both the writer and storyteller have managed to cover such an hideous set of events commited by an insane, and pitious monstor, yet interject at times just enough humor to tickle the mind even while pondering the mind-numbing and gross nature of what is happening. Bravo!! I can't imagine how this story could be any more well told!
