This book is the turning point for all characters. The overall storyline has a clear driving point. You see growth in the characters. Not everyone survives this book. We get more action, romance, and plot twists.

This book invoked so many feels! I was rooting for success for both The Six and Daisy Jones. Then I could not stand how selfish Billy and Daisy were for the whole second half of the book. I felt so much pity for the band mates who felt like the band was no longer a band. The music, drugs, alcohol and the feelings of being incomplete or not good enough were all so powerful.

Fans of a Star is Born and Bohemian Rhapsody this book is for you! Can’t find a flaw in this book. It was that good.

This book is deeply rich with strong female characters. The book combines classic British literature and turns it into a classic new story. You have the characters Sherlock Holmes, Frankenstein, Doctor Jekyll and Hyde intertwined. There has been a murder committed along with someone trying to create a monster out of different people’s body parts. The story is told in a very interactive way. The characters of the book talk to you. I found the book interesting, mysterious, unique and fun.

Diana longs to prove herself to her mother and the other Amazons when the perfect opportunity presents itself at the worst time. Diana is running in a competition with her sisters when she sees smoke along the horizon. A ship exploded along the island’s border. Diana forfeits the race and risks exile when she dives into the waters to see if there are any survivors. Diana saves the only survivor a girl named Alia. Alia is a Warbringer—a direct descendant of the infamous Helen of Troy. Alia’s fate is to bring the world into an age of bloodshed and misery. If you are around Alia long enough you’ll turn on those you love the most. She sparks anger around anyone she comes in contact with. Diana’s mission is to take Alia to a magical spring in Greece that will break the bloodline. Along the way Diana meets new friends, experiences the outside would, learns about humanity and experiences betrayal.

My thoughts:
I really liked the beginning and end of the story. In the middle of the book it felt like an episode of gossip girl and it dragged on more than it needed to. It also felt like Percy Jackson book but in a cheesy way. I was disappointed because it did not feel like a Wonder Woman book. She became a secondary character. The ending of the book saved it for me.

Things I did not like:
- Middle of the book dragged
- More marvel comic than DC
- Diana felt like a secondary character
- Action scenes were too short
- Mission was too simplistic

Things I liked:
- Diverse characters
- Set in modern day
- Plot twist
- Aspects of true friendship
- Ending

Meet Wade Owen Watts, aka by his avatar name Parzival, a orphan living with his evil aunt with two other families in a RV in the stacks. The future is not a pretty place to live in. The environment is all out of whack and the world is super over populated. So much so that the government gives out oasis gear so that students can go to school without ever leaving their home. What is the oasis you ask...well let me tell you. The oasis is a virtual reality word created by Halliday the billionaire mogul who has died. The oasis is anything you want it to be. You can travel to fair off lands anywhere from your favorite book or tv show. The people of the earth have forgotten to live in the real world and have chosen to live in the oasis. Before dying he set up a contest for his that any player can win as long as they figure out his clues to find the Easter egg. Hint hint you better know your 80’s pop culture if you even want a chance to win.

Things I loved:
- Oh my gosh all the 80’s references!!! Video game references here and there!!
- The world building was excellent. I never got confused because everything as explained in a easy way that flowed with the story.
- All the friendship aspects.
- Plot was excellent.
- The humor! It was sooo funny!
- That ending!!!

Things I didn’t like:
- Nothing :)

My Entertaining Lady!

I’ll keep it short basically Jane’s cousin, Edward, arranges her to be married to Gifford because he is dying and needs her heirs (sons) to one day rule over the country. The problem is Jane’s husband turns into a horse everyday and the fact that she doesn’t like him. Jane rather read all day ( a girl after my own heart). In this world there are people known as Edians who are able to change into animal forms. The story is very very loosely based on the real life Lady Jane Grey. There is a plot a foot to take over the kingdom that intertwines all these characters and more. The book is extremely witty, funny and heartwarming.

I can not express how entertaining this book is! What a freaking delight! Holy referencing Batman! We got references to princess bride, jaws, tangled, Shakespeare and probably more that I missed! I recommend the audiobook read by Katherine Kellgren. She made all the characters come alive! One of my favorite books of all time!!!
