Could be a five star with better narration

Story, although, predictable, entertaining and characters enjoyable. A good story, unfortunately, the narrator was robotic sounding in tone, distracting and could definitely have added, rather than subtracting from the substance and presentation. Her character voices, especially that of younger characters, need work.

I enjoy a series, however, lacks depth. The author really needs to spend time with kids. The two year old was written and produced in a totally unbelievable way. Same with the five year old.

Makes the keys come to life

This series does a great job transporting you to the beaches and swaying palm trees of the keys. Story is predictable but endearing. Most all characters are likable heather and Val my least favorite, the way religion is wrapped up into Heather character is way over the top. Accents are often laughable, come and go.

Story line is mildly interesting

I am a sucker for a series, this book takes you to the beach which is a positive. The storyline is not very thought provoking but can be entertaining. The author does not build realistic characters, nine year old written to be more believable as a 5-6 year old. The actors and their voices very robotic at times and not consistent. Narrators are the strongest.

I tend to like series, so hooked a bit although the performances and characters mediocre. My biggest complaint is that the author needs to spend some time with kids. The nine year old is written and performed to be believed as more of a 5-6 year old. The amount of time the baby spends in a pack and play also not very realistic. Just a couple examples. The best part of this series is it takes you to the beach.
