Historia
Douglas Murray, #1 international bestselling author and renowned cultural commentator, confronts arguably the most pressing question of our time: Why are Western supporters of Palestine unwittingly aligning with an evil empire? The campus left frames the violent hostilities as white colonialists committing genocide. Yet only a third of Israelis are Ashkenazi Jews of European ancestry. Murray argues that the conflict is not a simple tale of oppressor versus oppressed, but a clash between a thriving multi-racial democracy and a death cult bent on its destruction.

The most important book of our Generation.

I understand why Douglas Murray was adamant on the Joe Rogan podcast about being at the places where things like this war happened. His keen observation of the people involved and the questions that he posed are of the most significant to our society. Riveting and compelling. Every person should read this book!

Historia
It was 13 October 1972. Uruguayan Air Force Flight 571, carrying a team of young rugby players, their families and friends, took off for the very last time. A deadly miscalculation saw F571 crash directly into the Andean mountains to devastating consequences: the body of the plane broke violently into two, its floor torn to smithereens; seats flew out of the air taking passengers with them. In the weeks that followed, the remaining people who were on board - the society of the snow - emerged to fight a dire, gruelling battle for survival.

Besides the very well known, Nothing Compares to You song and the ripping of the Pope picture I knew nothing about this artist. After listening to her tell her life story I felt like I knew her in the most intimate way. She’s very frank and also very vulnerable. Loved this book!

Historia
Did you know that as of 2018, Argentina has a literacy level of 99 percent? Are you curious to find out how it achieved this? Argentina has a long and complex history. For hundreds of years, Argentina was inhabited by hunter-gatherer groups. In time, the Inca Empire rose to prominence and took over the Argentinian communities one by one. The Spanish arrived about 20 years later, bringing a new wave of invasion to the native inhabitants. The people of Argentina wouldn’t declare their independence until 1816, and after that, they faced civil war after civil war.

History was good, but the man who is reading this was not told how to properly pronounce Spanish names. He butchered the language!

Historia
To master anything, one must first master themselves–one’s emotions, one’s thoughts, one’s actions. Eisenhower famously said that freedom is really the opportunity to practice self-discipline. Cicero called the virtue of temperance the polish of life. Without boundaries and restraint, we risk not only failing to meet our full potential and jeopardizing what we have achieved, but we ensure misery and shame. In a world of temptation and excess, this ancient idea is more urgent than ever.

Historia
In 2009, Mark R. Levin galvanized conservatives with his unforgettable manifesto Liberty and Tyranny, by providing a philosophical, historical, and practical framework for halting the liberal assault on Constitution-based values. That book was about standing at the precipice of progressivism’s threat to our freedom, and now, over a decade later, we’re fully over that precipice and paying the price. In American Marxism, Levin explains how the core elements of Marxist ideology are now pervasive in American society and culture.

I'm a Rob Lowe contemporary as well as someone who was raised in LA and I really enjoyed all the behind the scenes stories Rob shares! But, most of all I was pleasantly surprised at how good a story teller he is! I strongly recommend this audiobook since Rob is a talented voice guy! Love this book! Will be listening his next one soon!

Historia
For much of his life, historian Howard Zinn chronicled American history from the bottom up, throwing out the official version taught in schools - with its emphasis on great men in high places - to focus on the street, the home, and the workplace. Known for its lively, clear prose as well as its scholarly research, A People's History of the United States is the only volume to tell America's story from the point of view of - and in the words of - America's women, factory workers, African-Americans, Native Americans, the working poor, and immigrant laborers.

This book is so heavy in one direction that it makes it impossible to believe its claims. Which is America was started by terrible people doing very bad things to very good and noble other peoples. Yeah, right.

Historia
In 2012, on his third tour of duty in Afghanistan, an improvised explosive device left Dan Crenshaw's right eye destroyed and his left blinded. Only through the careful hand of his surgeons, and what doctors called a miracle, did Crenshaw's left eye recover partial vision. And yet, he persevered, completing two more deployments. Why? There are certain stories we tell ourselves about the hardships we face—we can become paralyzed by adversity or we can adapt and overcome. We can be fragile or we can find our fortitude. Crenshaw delivers a set of lessons to help you do just that.

This book is not only Crenshaw's biography but it's encouraging and instructional in that it will help others in analyzing their own decisions as they live their lives. I especially recommend it for younger people who have a hard time knowing what to do with their future. Crenshaw has lived a lot and learned a lot even though he's still in his thirties. We need more people like him as roll models!
