First off, if you haven't read the previous books in the series, do that first! Start with Distorted. You won't regret it.

This series is an emotional rollercoaster. You will feel ALL of the feels. You will fall in love with the characters and become addicted to their stories. There are so many layers, and you will love them all. Well, some layers will rip your heart out but it's always back where it belongs by the end 😂.

The spice..we aren't using the term spice. It isn't adequate. At. All. I'll be using fire, for multiple reasons 😉. This is a 10 alarm 🔥 on a 5 alarm scale. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

These narrators do a fantastic job bringing the characters and story to life. I was amazed. Harley Chase and Devon Ryder KILLED IT! It was my first Harley listen. Devon did such an amazing job, it felt like we were truly hearing Ren. OMG and those 🔥 scenes 🥵?! I wondered at one point if it was actually *just acting* 😂, which made it even better. They also did a kicka$# job with the other characters as well, especially Dash 🥰!

This was a extremely hot yet wonderfully beautiful story. It is fast burn (yay!!!) and so, so 🔥🔥🔥. There is suspense. At one point, I cried. Just read it!

Second generation here we go! With the originals' hard work and sacrifice, the Territories have been at peace. Their children have grown up without the violence and turmoil, although they have been trained and educated. Ruby had always been the "good girl", doing what was expected and being who she thought she was supposed to be, as heir. However, one day she cracked and cheated on her boyfriend because she couldnt handleitand wanted to feel free/something. She told the BF it wasn't working and they agreed he could stay until he found another place. A stalker witnessed the cheating and started playing games with her, which she loved. If you're a fan of stalker, OTT possessive, play with her and I may allow it OR I may kill you, primal/chase play..this one is for you.

The plot is good and the spice is fantastic. The people in her life are trash humans and I felt so bad for her. Then I was jealous lol. This is definitely one of the hottest books I've read. The narration was amazing, especially Gabriel Spires 🔥.

Exciting in all the ways! 10/10

I loved all of the characters. The FMC is a bad#$@. The men are supportive and each have their own skills and unique personalities. The plot is exciting. They may be Italian mafia, but they have hearts. Good bad guys, I guess you could say haha.

The male narrator does a fantastic job with each character. I'm not sure if there is an equivalent of an Oscar award for narrators, but if so, Patrick Zeller deserves one! He expressed the personality and emotions of each character beautifully.

If you are an RH fan and love when the love isn't only for the FMC, READ THIS!!!

Like some other reviews I read expressed, it stopped right when it was getting good. 8hrs of angst with comedy mixed in, and that's being generous. It was like the last 30min was ALMOST what I was looking for the entire book. It was really disappointing that we didn't get to actually spend any time with them being an established poly relationship. This just seemed like part one. I looked around a bit online before writing this review, but I didn't find anything alluding to more. If another book comes, I'll gladly buy it and edit my review. I was just left wanting more and not in a good way. However, the male narrator..amazing 🔥🔥🔥!

Kate is such a sweet, funny, and resilient woman. I have read a lot of this author's books recently. She creates strong female characters and men who ultimately see, appreciate, and love them. There is plenty of humor, spice, ups and downs. I love how previous characters come to visit.

Overall a fantastic series

This first book is a lot of plot building, tension, and angst. You learn about the FMC, Harlow, and see how much of a bad A she is. She is resilient and takes no crap, although she does get a lot piled on. You learn about the other characters as the series goes on, so like Brad, Poppy, and Nana beg Harlow, just give them a chance! You'll love them and the series.
