A fascinating listen. I learned more about Fusion GPS and the events leading up to and including the Mueller investigation than I had previously known. I find Simpson’s version of events more credible than the right-wing attempts to smear them and Christopher Steele. I plan

It’s even worse than you imagine

I’ve read many books by former Trump staffers and usually, I don’t hear much that I didn’t already know from either the news or from other stories. However, this book reveals the depth of sheer depravity shown by Trump, especially regarding his border policies. Perhaps there isn’t any easy fix to immigration, however, the inhumanity and sociopathic ideas that Trump floated while President sickened and disgusted me as much as they did the author, a Republican. The book is well-narrated and will certainly keep your attention.

The narrator, Don Cheadle, is amazing. The story is engrossing, moving, and never drags. Fearless is an iconic character, reminiscent of Socrates in “Always Outnumbered, Always Outgunned”. I hope that Mr Mosely has many more such stories to write.

Interesting Perspective and Thought-Provoking

Of course Chris Hayes narrates the book himself, which I think was a mistake. He speaks too quickly which for me, robs the narrative of some of its power. I also found his voice, when he quoted others, to be almost sarcastic and mocking at times. That being said, I think this is an important book with a fascinating point of view. I found myself wishing that Chris had actually interviewed members of say, the Ferguson community, to let African Americans speak for themselves about their lived experiences and perspectives. That would have improved the book immeasurably. However, I recommend it and think its definitely with a listen.

after a slow start, I was captured by this story

I almost didn't finish listening to the story because it started out a bit slowly, but I'm very glad that I did. the narration is great and the story really grabbed me after the first few chapters. I didn't want it to end, and I couldn't stop listening. a great find!
