Historia
Amos Decker's life changed forever - twice. The first time was on the gridiron. A big, towering athlete, he was the only person from his hometown of Burlington ever to go pro. But his career ended before it had a chance to begin. On his very first play, a violent helmet-to-helmet collision knocked him off the field for good and left him with an improbable side effect - he can never forget anything.

I really joyed this book
Revisado: 09-27-20
I will admit that at the beginning of the book the self denigrating thoughts of the lead character seemed a bit extreme. I appreciated those thoughts more as the book went on, but after that initial start it was a very enjoyable book. I’ve always liked David Balducci, but I must admit this was one of my very favorite. Highly recommended.

Never Would Have Believed It!
Revisado: 07-23-19
How can a book about checklists be this incredibly interesting and fun to read? This book not only convinces you that the use of checklists could solve all of the problems in your world, it turns out to be a nail-biting page turner. From the child who was effectively dead after drowning in an ice cold pond, to other medical mysteries, this book is a fun and educational classic.

Historia
Andrei Lankov has gone where few outsiders have ever been. A native of the former Soviet Union, he lived as an exchange student in North Korea in the 1980s. He has studied it for his entire career, using his fluency in Korean and personal contacts to build a rich, nuanced understanding. In The Real North Korea, Lankov substitutes cold, clear analysis for the overheated rhetoric surrounding this opaque police state.

Very Insightful Book Leaves a Clear Understanding
Revisado: 09-25-17
The book is written by a Russian author with years of first hand experience. The book is from 2014 and stops just short of Kim Jong-un’s rule. I was left with two key understandings which I don’t consider spoilers.
The Kim dynasty’s function is to survive as the great Leaders of North Korea and everything they do on the world stage is calculated to that end.
Any practical options to interfere with that plan will take decades and must come from within.

Great Book, Needs Updating
Revisado: 12-07-16
Excellent ideas and system structure for increasing overall productivity. Two shortcomings: the technology references need updating after 5+ years; and, many readers listen to audiobooks while driving, etc. The constant references to a PDF that supplements the audiobook is not helpful. By its nature, it is highly unlikely he that a listener would be able to review the PDF document while listening to the audiobook. The suggestion might be to incorporate the aforementioned technology references into the PDF guide so that it could be reviewed separately from the audiobook and thereby eliminating the need for updating the audiobook and instead just update the PDF supplement.
