Historia
What does everyone in the modern world need to know? Renowned psychologist Jordan B. Peterson's answer to this most difficult of questions uniquely combines the hard-won truths of ancient tradition with the stunning revelations of cutting-edge scientific research. Humorous, surprising, and informative, Dr. Peterson tells us why skateboarding boys and girls must be left alone, what terrible fate awaits those who criticize too easily, and why you should always pet a cat when you meet one on the street.

A perfect book for not just our times, but all times. To have had this book in my youth would have given my life a different outcome. Since there are no 'do overs', I begin now to make my life more productive, more focused, more meaningful, more memorable. On how the book is presented in audio, I am always a fan of when the author is also the orator.

Historia
William Peter Blatty, the best-selling author and Oscar Award-winning screenwriter of The Exorcist, lived a charmed life among the elite stars of Hollywood. His son, Peter, born over a decade after The Exorcist, grew from an apple-cheeked boy into an "imposing young man with a quick, warm smile". But when Peter died very suddenly from a rare disorder, Blatty's world turned upside down.

Chapter 13
Revisado: 01-14-17
If it were more of Chapter 13, perfect; but, OMGoodness for me it just dragged on and really missed the mark of the title. I wanted to love it. I am really sorry that I didn't.

Historia
Early in his career, A.J. Jacobs put his Ivy League education to work at Entertainment Weekly. He emerged five years later knowing which stars have fake boobs, which stars have toupees, which have both, and not much else. This realization led Jacobs on a life-changing quest: to read the entire contents of the Encyclopedia Britannica, all 33,000 pages, all 44 million words.

Remember the Saying: No One Likes A ...
Revisado: 12-26-09
I tried very hard to get through this book to gleam some sort of redeeming value, but I couldn't, I just couldn't. Found that the voice selected to narrate the book was a finger nails on the chalkboard sounding boyish-man. I know some like this book, just not for me. Do not like that I wasted my time and my money. There truly are so many more important things to do in life than to read an encyclopedia and then to write about it.

Historia
In this eagerly anticipated memoir, Palin paints an intimate portrait of growing up in the wilds of Alaska; meeting her lifelong love; her decision to enter politics; the importance of faith and family; and the unique joys and trials of life as a high-profile working mother. She also opens up for the first time about the 2008 presidential race, providing a rare, mom's-eye view of high-stakes national politics - from patriots dedicated to "Country First" to slick politicos bent on winning at any cost.

How Did So Many People Know?
Revisado: 12-07-09
I was amazed at the pre-order sales figures leading up to the release of Going Rogue. I like Sarah Palin, but I didn't think enough to purchase her book. Saw it was available as an audio book, but in an abridged version. Decided to purchase it anyway and WOW! Have listened to it twice already. All the craziness of the campaign makes sense now.
Sarah really is a Rock Star! I am certain she is why McCain's popular vote was so high. Had his people not gotten in her way, I believe the numbers would have been better yet, even a win. Listen to her words and her actions make sense. I wish I was as smart in my life plan as she. Using her as a model, I am going to help my child better succeed! Where's the unabridged audio version? I'm eager for it. Go, Sarah, Go!
