least favorite so far

this is my least favorite of the series so far. story seemed to draw on, narrator's voice got on my nerves. several times the narrator didn't switch voices, and used her male voice as Danielle or Lily. I do like how Danielle's character has become friends with the police captain, and I hope Joe finds love with Kelly and goes away. And finally, if Danielle doesn't get some damn cameras in public areas of the house, I'm going to scream!

I normally love post-apocalyptic stories. It started out ok, but the narrator seemed to be trying so hard for masculine drama. I felt the need to finish, but halfway through I was so sick of his voice. Also doesn't help that it seems to be written by a horny teenage boy. I'm all for a smutty romance, but this was uncomfortable. Henry professes his love, and desire for marriage, and 2 seconds later is wishing he had more time to screw around with another woman?! I may give the writer another try, but I absolutely cannot listen to that narrator again.
