What can I say. I loved this book. One of my favorites from Devon. Although I try to read everything he writes and listen to goodly number too. This story had many components that made it special. May/December, Silver fox and a younger guy add in the complication of one being the others vest friends father well the suspense is off the charts. So is the heat.

Unlikeable Survivor

I must say I couldn't put this book down but it won't be one of my re-read or re listen favorites. Blake was a nasty piece of work and as the title suggests a Cheating Bastard. He was the ugliest character Devon has ever written and I did not like him. At one point I wanted to tell the others involved with him to run as fast as they could and never look back. This is well worth reading one time. It's like Apocalypse Now, in that wouldm't have missed it but don't want to be subjected to it again.

A Classic Car and 2 Hot Men!

Poetry Masquarading as Prose

This book was simply wonderful and the performance by Greg Tremblay was magnificent. The words in this book were exquisite, The way Rhys makes dialogue come to life is absolutely fantastic. It was like listening to poetry about love, life, and the horrors some people live through to get to the beauty. I was moved beyond tears. The descriptions of the art that Jake made was brethtaking, I wanted to see it and I could in my minds eye.

Different

This story was dark and strange in a world where the bogey man in the closet or under the bed is real or seems to be. It is scary for the amount of government meddling in peoples lives and how being different can get you persecuted in many ways by many different people and entities. I liked this story but it left me unsettled. My imagination is too strong sometimes.

Fun Construction Based M/M Romance

This is a steamy listen and Tod Scott has a great voice for this story, he keeps it authentic sounding.
H.J. Perry writes with a clear voice and a great sense of humor. This story is both fun and interesting especially as it gives another perspective to many issues. He made me stop and think about knowing who you are and being able to be up front about who you love.
Connor is a romantic who makes all the right moves and finally convinces Lee he is serious when he plans a surprise trip to Gretna Green to propose. They plan it all and keep it secret from all the guys at work not thinking they would be accepted in the construction industry. They are surprised by the response of the workers and family when Connors accident outs them both and they are accepted without a blink of anyone's eye.
