Historia
I'm a dangerous man. A man who has spent the last two decades removing so many souls from this earth that it's a miracle my hands aren't permanently stained red. I'm a man who belongs in the shadows. I certainly don't belong in my pretty little neighbor's bedroom when she's not home, touching her things and inhaling her scent. I shouldn't follow her. Shouldn't watch her. No number of cookies on my doorstep will change the fact that love isn't an option for me. The only option left for me is violence.

Funny at times, campy with a edge of violence. Mostly crazy love stories with the rest thrown in.

Historia
Carter Beckett is the NHL’s resident bad boy, top player both on the ice and in the bedroom, and quite possibly the sexiest man to ever grace my field of vision. But worst of all? He knows it. He’s arrogant, self-centered, and the man doesn’t seem to know what a filter is, let alone how to use one. He’s had everything served to him on a silver platter, including endless strings of women, and apparently, I’m up next. I have the solution to all my sexual frustrations in a drawer at home, and it’s far less complicated than Carter Beckett.

Historia
There is no gentleman in all of London considered more rude, impolite, blunt, and just plain awful than the Earl of Huntly. Miss Emmagene Stitch, self-proclaimed spinster, is considered nearly as unpleasant with her sharp tongue and opinions. The only thing Emmagene and Huntly can agree upon is their dislike of the house party they both find themselves attending. Forced into Huntly's company by their hostess, Emmagene finds herself attracted to the earl despite the deficits to his character. Their affair is as unexpected as it is passionate.

Well written with wit and humour. Engaging plot and characters, carry this series but the Author is a standout. I’m disappointed that the next in the series is not available on audio….yet?

This is the second book…I was hoping they would get better but no such luck. If they said “ bama” one more time I would’ve tossed my phone. The narrators struggled with both larger words ( over 5 letters) and changing voices. And you can take a guess that the author most likely struggles with the English vocabulary. The part where I should have cut and run, was 5 minutes in, where the couple goes to NYC… reminds one of tacky tourists…really if you want to laugh, listen to that part.. (red dress and gold heels=classy.. lmao) Cringe.

Historia
At first, I thought I’d hate spending the summer with Archie Remington—the conceited son of my parents’ friends. What I knew about Archie: He was gorgeous, pre-law, and had always treated me like I didn’t exist when we were younger. When our families bought a house together on an island in Maine, he and I were forced to share a bathroom.

The going back and forth in history for the couple to keep continuously not communicating or connecting. It’s an extremely long story for nothing to keep happening.

The destruction of the series
Revisado: 01-01-25
I wrote a review previously on whirlwind the book right before this. I spoke about getting invested in characters in the series and the simple fact that this book leaves you feeling empty, unfulfilled and feeling like you wasted your time listening to the previous books. I won’t continue with the series or spinoffs. I’ve also never written such a scathing review but it’s deserved.

I don’t like spoilers but you get invested in characters in this long series of books and became thoroughly disappointed and disinvested after this book. I can’t wrap my head around it. Save your time and money.

I had it all planned out. A perfect getaway, in a perfect forest locale, with my perfect boyfriend. It should’ve been...perfect. Until he breaks up with me, leaving me all alone when a stranger walks in on me post-shower, getting a too-good look at my bare backside.

Revisado: 10-09-24
The first book was good but the last two I couldn’t listen to… both were boring and the female narration was so annoying… I tried to speed up or slow it down but nothing helped. The three books were 1) V card 2) good with his hands 3) good to be bad. In good to be bad you can listen to the male narrator Tor Tom he’s excellent.

Historia
This was the most popular novel of Radcliffe's time; Radcliffe's portrayal of her heroine's inner life raised the Gothic romance to a new level. The atmosphere of fear and the gripping plot continue to thrill today. This is the story of the orphaned Emily St Aubert, who finds herself separated from the man she loves and confined within the Castle of Udolpho by her aunt's new husband Montoni. Here she must cope with an unwanted suitor, Montoni's threats, and the wild imaginings and terrors which threaten to overwhelm her.

The Narrator
Revisado: 08-29-24
I have been looking for an audible version of this tale that doesn’t leave out its essence by unfortunate editing… however those that do this without a great narrator also fail. Here in this version we have perfect harmony.

Historia
When the ancient waters of Lady’s Well in the rural village of Holystone begin to run red, it seems to be a nasty Hallowe’en prank and nothing more. But things take a sinister turn when the entire village suffers severe poisoning, and one old man turns up dead. Accusations abound in the small close-knit community, and ‘old’ religions spar against ‘new’ while fear runs like wildfire through the streets. With so many potential motives and countless opportunities, there’s only one man who can help solve this particular mystery.
