Fantastic performance of a great classic
Revisado: 07-28-23
Many books for this era are dry and difficult to begin, but Stevenson’s classic is intriguing from the start - a short but compelling read all the way through.

Historia
McCullough's John Adams has the sweep and vitality of a great novel. This is history on a grand scale, an audiobook about politics, war, and social issues, but also about human nature, love, religious faith, virtue, ambition, friendship, and betrayal, and the far-reaching consequences of noble ideas. Above all, it is an enthralling, often surprising story of one of the most important and fascinating Americans who ever lived.

Excellent reading
Revisado: 10-31-22
This was a fantastic reading with subtle changes in voice for the writing and voices of each historical figure. Other reviews have said the breathing and other sounds by the narrator were bothersome, but either it was edited, or it just didn’t bother me, because I rarely noticed it. I highly recommend this book and it’s narration.

Spectacular reading - get this version!
Revisado: 07-15-22
As the "book that changed a nation," Uncle Tom's Cabin is a must-read and a fantastic piece of literature and history. The story is compelling and Stowe's writing style is unlike any author I have read. But this narrator.... he does an absolutely incredible job of portraying these characters and bringing them to life. His voices and singing of the hymns make this book come alive in a way that reading it myself would never have done. Get this version!
