I was hoping this would be as exciting as the earlier novels but it’s a lukewarm finale. I think it’s the end. Not sure I’d buy another one. There is way too much talking and not enough M2. Overall kind of a let down.

This is a good one! The octopus is snarky like Skippy from Bobiverse. The human story is compelling and feel good. I wasn’t sure if I would like this, but I’m glad I got it.

The story is ok. There is not much supernatural going on. It kept me occupied while I painted 2 rooms. I think the ending was a missed opportunity for something better. The author’s bigotry is obvious in the scenes with the main character’s parents. The parents are Christian conservatives who watch heavily biased news who would never understand her gay roommate, her job etc. The parents aren’t major players only popping up to check in their daughter and give the author a way for bigoted views toward half the country.

Excellent story, excellent narration

I enjoyed this book so much! A human astronaut goes out on a suicide mission to save earth and meets an alien on the same mission. They work together to save respective plants. It has science, action, lots of humor and a great ending you won’t expect. Ray Porter is great as usual, really brings characters to life. One of my favorites out of hundreds of audible books.

This is a fun single story book. It’s on the order of Jaws but has enough differences to be it’s own story. I liked the narrator and the characters. I got absorbed into the story and got it done in a weekend. This shark sounds truly scary.

Excellent, one of the best I have on audible

I have over 600 books on audible. I think this is one of the best I have. It's not a political book. It's about public health policy in the US. Fauci has been in charge of public health policy since the 80s. In that time, obesity is up, allergies are up etc. Fauci is ground zero for a lot of things going on today. Biden recently called him the real president. This is a very good, well researched book on public health policy and Fauci's influence. I think everyone, no matter your political leanings or where you stand on mandates, masks, vax, whatever, doesn't matter...everyone should be aware of the info this book.

Great ending to Veritas and Ian's story. These two are fun together. I enjoyed Vlad's appearance too, he's my favorite. I'm glad Jeaniene is keeping the series going, these characters are like friends at this point.

I liked Luka and Sams story. They have good chemistry and the story is interesting. Narrator is good. Moving to the 3rd book.
