Historia
For 2,000 years, since it pierced the side of Christ, the Spear of Destiny has been invested with amazing occult powers. This book records the legend and its continuing fulfillment in the decline of the Roman Empire, the Dark Ages, and the 20th century. It tells the story of the chain of men who possessed the Spear, from Herod the Great to Adolf Hitler, and how they sought to change the face of history by wielding its occult powers for good or evil.

Classic
Revisado: 07-06-23
This detailed look into history surrounding the rise of a string of European emperors from the 9th century to the rise to power of the third reich should be a classic in world literature.

Historia
Forty years ago Israeli psychologists Daniel Kahneman and Amos Tversky wrote a series of breathtakingly original studies undoing our assumptions about the decision-making process. Their papers showed the ways in which the human mind erred systematically when forced to make judgments about uncertain situations. Their work created the field of behavioral economics, revolutionized Big Data studies, advanced evidence-based medicine, led to a new approach to government regulation, and made Michael Lewis' work possible.

Historia
Tornadoes, cyclones, tsunamis… Weather can be deadly – especially when it strikes without warning. Millions of Americans could soon find themselves at the mercy of violent weather if the public data behind lifesaving storm alerts gets privatized for personal gain. In his first Audible Original feature, New York Times best-selling author and journalist Michael Lewis delivers hard-hitting research on not-so-random weather data – and how Washington plans to release it.

It's a radical, provocative idea: We're not entitled to get offended or stay angry. The idea of our own "righteous anger" is a myth. It is the number-one problem in our societies today and, as Dallas Willard says, Christians have not been taught out of it.

I have a sore shoulder. I've been scouring the internet to find out what the problem is. I think it needs to be amputated. We, my wife and I, will be listening to this once a quarter for the rest of our lives. Thank you.

Why are some people and organizations more innovative, more influential, and more profitable than others? Why do some command greater loyalty from customers and employees alike? Even among the successful, why are so few able to repeat their successes over and over? People like Martin Luther King Jr., Steve Jobs, and the Wright Brothers might have little in common, but they all started with why.

17 years ago I started a business with a pretty clear Why. About 7 years ago I lost it. I was tired dejected and nearly broke. I actually got a new Why which was I wanted out and I'd do anything to get there. But like your story that led to thoughts of suicide. My new Why didn't lead me to where I wanted to go. I've been wandering around aimlessly. Knowing something had to change I started looking for answers which led me here. I'm reconnecting to me and one day hope to pass on my Why to the next person or people. Your final story of the young man with CP did me in. I'm completely broken. That's my new purpose. Thank you
