Historia
This is what he remembers, as he sits by the ocean at the end of the lane: A dead man on the back seat of the car and warm milk at the farmhouse. An ancient little girl and an old woman who saw the moon being made. A beautiful housekeeper with a monstrous smile. And dark forces woken that were best left undisturbed.

Historia
On The Power of Vulnerability, Dr. Brown offers an invitation and a promise - that when we dare to drop the armor that protects us from feeling vulnerable, we open ourselves to the experiences that bring purpose and meaning to our lives. Here she dispels the cultural myth that vulnerability is weakness and reveals that it is, in truth, our most accurate measure of courage.

Historia
For decades we've been told that positive thinking is the key to a happy, rich life. "F*ck positivity," Mark Manson says. "Let's be honest, shit is f*cked, and we have to live with it." In his wildly popular Internet blog, Manson doesn't sugarcoat or equivocate. He tells it like it is - a dose of raw, refreshing, honest truth that is sorely lacking today. The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck is his antidote to the coddling, let's-all-feel-good mind-set that has infected modern society and spoiled a generation, rewarding them with gold medals just for showing up.

Strong beginning
Revisado: 01-24-19
I enjoyed the beginning of this book. It's really just a summary of other spiritual teachings at the end of the day. But it loses something midway and I was just very bored by the end.

Historia
Judgement - both being judged and judging others - is at the core of our discomfort and the root of many of our life blocks. When we judge others, we get a quick hit of self-righteousness. Judgement can get us through when we feel hurt, insecure, or vulnerable. But inevitably this feeling of righteousness fades and judgement causes our energy to weaken and our thoughts to darken. Here Gabrielle shares the process she used to liberate herself - a six-step interactive programme that calls on spiritual principles.

I really enjoy Gabby. This was a brilliant book, it introduced me to tapping and a few meditations and mantra which I had not tried before. All beautiful and powerful techniques that have helped me return to love, self-love, acceptance of self and others. A truly worthwhile listen!

Historia
Her throne awaits ... if she can live long enough to take it. It was on her nineteenth birthday that the soldiers came for Kelsea Glynn. They'd come to escort her back to the place of her birth – and to ensure she survives long enough to be able to take possession of what is rightfully hers. But like many nineteen-year-olds, Kelsea is unruly, has high principles and believes she knows better than her elders.

Brilliantly written story of a young girl, starting off unsure, insecure and clueless and we watch as she develops into herself, into her strength and into the Queen the world requires. There were moments of grief, of intrigue and fall off your chair anticipation. A worthwhile experience!
