Historia
Elfrida Phipps tries to exorcise the pain of the past and find peace, taking refuge in a rambling Scottish house called Corrydale. Almost like a magnet, Corrydale attracts various waifs and strays, each of them escaping difficult personal pasts. As the holidays approach and the weather turns foul, it seems a perfect recipe for disaster.

Good book, good story, well written and read
Revisado: 08-27-12
What made the experience of listening to Winter Solstice the most enjoyable?
Rolsamsnde Plcher wrote good, interesting books. The first on I heard was the unabridged version of "The Shell Seekers" while traveling with my late wife who loved her works. I was hooked. Allthough my reading was confined to mostly mystery and adventure novels, I relly enjoyed this work.
What did you like best about this story?
Good plot linking all of the characters. Wonderful descriptions of the background areas and countyside not to mention an interesting plot.
What about Lisa Burgett’s performance did you like?
Well done with good voice impressions of all of the charactors.
Any additional comments?
Would like other Pilcher novels by both Rosamunde and Robin made available for purchase on Audible.com. They are available from other sources that I cannot download on my Kindle.
