Of course this book was going to be inspiring. what I didn't expect was that it would also be entertaining. I laughed, I teared up, I got mad, and, despite having seen the triumph on the news, I was awed.

Entertaining behind the scenes tour

I enjoy learning how decisions in movie and tv productions are made and discovering the behind the scenes stories. Without the visuals, I was curious how this would be accomplished. Never doubt that a Pottermore production will live up to expectations! This book is a thoroughly entertaining description of how the movie was made.

I was excited to read this book after seeing the first 3 seasons of the series on Amazon. I wouldn't mind that the book was different if it was good. The author fails to give me a reason to care about any of the characters. It felt more like an early draft of ideas with potential, yet needing more development.

An amazing behind the scenes tour

I am grateful Jeremy McCarter and Lin-Manuel Metanda had the foresight to script this documentary simultaneously with the development of the songbook and eventual Broadway musical. This insight into the creative progress and decisions which brought Hamilton to the stage will enriches the audience experience and will serve as a textbook for future generations in the theatrical arts.

A measuerd and carefully scripted account of Omarosa 's interactions with Trump before and during her White House employment. A tiny glimpse behind the curtain, though certainly not full access. I expected more reveals given the alleged 200 recordings the author claims to have. (strategically timed to coincide with the book release to increase sales) Still, I'm glad I read the book. One purpose of this piece is to restore Manigault-Newman's reputation and counter the characterizations that are spinning from the White House. She succeeded in showing both her qualifications for the job and detailing how she performed her role.

Good book, bad narration

What did you love best about Rod?

I enjoyed the insights into the origins of Rod Stewart's music and his candor.

What didn’t you like about Simon Vance’s performance?

It was a dry and lifeless performance. Rod Stewart is a colorful person and this Simon Vance's narration was completely beige.
