Hilarious fantasy

Loved the narration of this dazzling and complex story. The author presents a totally unique world, which is a lot of fun. I could have done without profanity: not needed!

He participated in the Bandit War of 1915, survived the climactic gunfight in the last blood feud of the Old West, battled the Mexican Revolution's spillover across the border, protected African Americans from lynch mobs and the Ku Klux Klan, and ran down gangsters, bootleggers, and Communists.

Scrupulously researched and beautifully written: this book sets straight some of the misconceptions of history regarding the Texas Rangers and their most famous lawman. Everyone who has seen the film “Bonnie and Clyde” needs to read this book

A lot I rehashed information discussed by various people again and again. An event happens and that Is rehashed by various people again and again. Seems like there was not enough plot to fill up this book. This became very tedious. Good prose, needs a better story
