Historia
Every morning, A wakes in a different person’s body, a different person’s life. There’s never any warning about where it will be or who it will be. A has made peace with that, even established guidelines by which to live: Never get too attached. Avoid being noticed. Do not interfere. It’s all fine until the morning that A wakes up in the body of Justin and meets Justin’s girlfriend, Rhiannon. From that moment, the rules by which A has been living no longer apply....

I wanted to love it
Revisado: 03-09-18
The book starts off great. The narrator is very captivating and the story is unique and engaging. There's a definite "jump the shark" moment for me about 75% of the way through that causes the lower review. I loved the premise of the book and stand by my glowing review of the beginning but overall it was a let down. If you are just looking for a fun read, go for it. But don't expect too much.

Psychologically Thrilled!
Revisado: 01-11-18
Do not plan on doing anything until you're done listening! The story and the narrator do such a compelling job of keeping your attention that it makes it impossible to hit pause. The characters are very well presented and dynamic enough to make you feel what they are feeling. Just when you think you found answers, there are even more questions. Highly recommend this to anyone!

As good as they say
Revisado: 11-30-17
I always worry when I read really great reviews that the books will not live up to the hype. In this case, it did. The characters are well written and very likeable. The subject matter is not something I would ordinarily read a book about but that's how I know this was so good. I find myself wanting to listen to it again to hear more of the details I may have missed the first listening. Well worth a read/listen!

Pleasantly Surprised
Revisado: 11-30-17
I downloaded this book months ago but never got around to reading it. Gayle Forman has written such great books that I bought it as soon as it was released, but the subject matter did not seem interesting. When the audiobook was on sale, I bought it too. I read the reviews and was afraid I would be disappointed. It was SO much better than the other reviews said. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to it and would recommend it to anyone. I could see how people would not sympathize with the main character but I think once you understand her, it all makes sense. Well written, well read, and worth full price!

Meet Ove. He's a curmudgeon - the kind of man who points at people he dislikes as if they were burglars caught outside his bedroom window. He has staunch principles, strict routines, and a short fuse. People call him "the bitter neighbor from hell". But behind the cranky exterior there is a story and a sadness.

I had read the reviews and seen the ratings but it still took me by surprise how much I loved this audiobook. It's like Gran Torino meets Tuesdays with Morrie, and I can't say enough good things about it. I can't wait to listen to this again.

Historia
From Lauren Graham, the beloved star of Gilmore Girls and Parenthood, comes a witty, charming, and hilariously relatable debut novel about a struggling young actress trying to get ahead - and keep it together - in New York City. It’s January 1995, and Franny Banks has just six months left of the three-year deadline she set for herself when she came to New York, dreaming of Broadway and doing "important" work. But all she has to show for her efforts so far is a part in an ad for ugly Christmas sweaters, and a gig waiting tables at a comedy club....
