Bogged Down Series

The MC's girlfriend is a whiney, annoying, girlboss type.
I enjoy the system & basic storyline but it is severely bogged down by internal prologue, secondary crap taking ceter stage & literal hours between fights.
The last two books have all had this problem.
I'm ended this series book 4 chapter 14.
Do not recommend

I stopped the series at book 4 Chapter 14.

The world is swiftly waking to the new reality, the vultures are circling, and keeping the ship looks to be at least as hard as taking it ever was. Time is never on Steve's side, but the knowledge that he agreed to present himself before the only faction he's not at war with and that the Elders have no patience for delays only add to his stress.

Secondary crap is the focus

The last two books have all had this problem.
I just fast forwarded thru a ton of stuff in Chapter 14.
Then I hear nonsense about a 7 yr old princess leading her people & even in war. Leading her "honor guard" at 7...
This is stupid.
I'm done w this series.

Possibly it's not to save a pair of drowning girls, not go 'viral' on social media and certainly not to let the local police take your passport, trapping you on a small 'party' island in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea. But Steve isn't the average guy, he's ex-military, ex-enforcer and ex-human. He's a one man nanite fuelled nightmare for those that cross the line, and he's decided that its time to clean up his act. Not Recommended Series

Story, main character, combat, & narrator are all amazing.
Light on romance & the few times sex comes up its just fade to black then the next day. Non harem. No lgbt nonsense.
Some profanity but not overly so.
UPDATE: I do not recommend this series. The next three books are seriously bogged down & I quit.

Excellent Cyberpunk LitRPG

Excellent story, good narrator & good pacing. The LitRPG elements are there but not overbearing or chalk full of stat blocks. The story takes priority over the stats & it is pleasing to me. I finished this within two days of binging & kept me engaged the whole time.
Highly recommended.

I enjoy the story & the performance of the narrator. Some have complained about the main characters accent but most of the voices remind me of European accents & mannerisms which I enjoy.
So far I highly recommend this audiobook. I will update this review roughly every 5 hours.

This audiobook was so enjoyable I stayed up til 6am or so last night to listen to it. Story & MC still great.
