Historia
Brigitte is an emissary of nature chosen to renew the treaty between Atlantis and the ancient bloodline of Lemuria. Her sacred betrothal would renew the elemental function of the Crystal Grid that powers the ten kingdoms of Atlantis. But her people are attacked by a storm of shadows, and now, she is running for her life. Upon her arrival in the ruling city, she meets D’Vinid, a dejected musician who lives the quintessential Atlantean lifestyle of revelry, escapism, and apathy. Under the eclipse of a holy festival, they are swept into an attraction they cannot resist.

Historia
One rainy morning in the winter of 1909, a man with an altogether average look about him quit his job at the London Morning Leader, kissed his wife and children goodbye, and took a train to Swansea in Wales, where he talked his way aboard a freighter bound for somewhere in the upper reaches of the Amazon. Three years later, Tomlinson published a book about his adventures. This book made him famous.
'The right good book,' says Mr. Tomlinson, 'is always a book of travel: it is about a life's journey.'

Good story, poor narration
Revisado: 11-02-10
This is a very entertaining and interesting story, particularly if you are familiar with some of the flora and fauna of the Amazon. But I might consider another production of this audiobook as the narrator's voice is highly distracting. His intonations seem out of place, and I find it hard to believe that he is the type of person to pull through such an arduous journey.
