Historia
A beast. An enchantress. An unbreakable curse.... Deep within the sentient woods, Larkin uncovers a secret that puts her in dreadful danger. Worse, now that the beast has had his taste, he’ll never stop hunting her. But the forest has woken something inside Larkin; something that gives her the power to fight back. Magic. Using forbidden magic will get Larkin hanged. Not using it will leave her at the mercy of the beast's enchantment. But there’s a third option; one that scares her more than anything.

Loved the story, naration could have been better
Revisado: 03-13-21
I really loved the story! The story starts off fast and keeps that pace, felt like some things could have been more detailed - like relationships between main characters and the support characters, but overall I realize that would be a loooong book. The only issue I had with narration, which was good, was that all her male characters sounded alike, and all her female characters sounded alike. Really wish there was more diversity, but the other parts (when there is no character talking) were very good! Also, felt that the names (at least when listening to the book) were a bit similar or difficult. Did not love the name Larkin, but that is just me ahah. Seems like a male name. Overall, loved the book! :D

Historia
Less than a year ago, Evelyn Dasher was a normal girl, living a safe, rather unremarkable life - a life that was a total lie. Now she's learned the truth about who she was and what she is. Hidden within Zone 3, she knows that if she loses control of her dangerous abilities again, she not only puts everyone in the secret community at risk, but also the beautiful, deadly inhuman Luc. He will do anything to keep her safe. Lie. Barter. Beg. Kill.

Very YA, teenage romance, story a bit predictable
Revisado: 01-23-21
So I read a lot of good reviews for the Lux series and somehow ended starting with this one. It was okay to kill time, but not WOW as I hoped and hyped by reading reviews. But then again someone might LOVE it and that is ok. I thought it quite slow paced at times and dragged out unnecessary.

Historia
Princess Guinevere has come to Camelot to wed a stranger: the charismatic King Arthur. With magic clawing at the kingdom's borders, the great wizard Merlin conjured a solution - send in Guinevere to be Arthur's wife...and his protector from those who want to see the young king's idyllic city fail. The catch? Guinevere's real name - and her true identity - is a secret. She is a changeling, a girl who has given up everything to protect Camelot.

Slow at first and confusing, but was hooked later
Revisado: 12-04-20
It was quite a slow start, and I considered dropping it after first few chapters because the narration was so hard to listen to. This is just my opinion that is probbably quite biased after getting used to American accent and more acting so I can differentiate which character said what opposed to the narrator just reading it out. I think that was the biggest issue for me, but the story is addictive when you get into it, promise! After seeing new Netflix show with Nimue, this was right down my alley. <3
Character wise, wish she was a bit stronger like in the beginning, it was weird that she dropped the ball on the first curve, but I love goes to Mordred! Can't help to love a "bad guy".. :D
