So much science supports the concept of giving our kids autonomy. However, it is always easier to extend autonomy when we have our own in abundance — a privilege not all parents are granted. This should be noted by the authors in any further editions.

I am an intern in a fourth grade classroom and have used this audiobook for two literature circles. The students (4th graders) love Dufris's expression and character voices, especially when he says, "Jug-a-Rum!" The students are constantly engaged. Those students of mine who read more slowly are able to keep up when reading along with this audiobook, because the narrator is so expressive he doesn't read too quickly.
I will make more purchases from audiobook in the future.
