The narrator nailed the accents, English and French. I was along for the ride and could not tell where we were going to end up, but when we got there it all fit in true Mary Stewart style.

Not as charming as it could have been

This seemed like it would be a charming mystery with a bit of adventure and magic, but the narrator read much of it like it was a newscast or even a textbook. It didn’t work for me.

Eddie Redmayne brilliantly performed the small but fantastic tome that is a joy to listen. I also appreciate the added sound effects when Newt introduced a creature to the listener - ¡Fantástico!
