Strange speech pattern
Revisado: 09-17-20
The female, Tanya Eby, uses is a very unusual accent. It sounds like a computer generated voice. While the story is interesting, the narration from this woman is distracting.

Historia
At once profoundly personal and far-reaching, Exit Interview with My Grandmother serves as a meditation on the beginning of a young woman’s life and the series of questions that arise from examining love, loss, family, memory, and death. Moving between cities and centuries, Meyersohn probes her family's Jewish history and her grandparents' relationships in part to decipher her own young queer relationships, but also to examine how we ought to behave in the face of a world riddled with uncertainty and doubt.

Brilliantly woven between the voices of herself and her grandmother, Jewish history, family stories, easy love story of the author and her lover, a real gem!

Historia
Meet Eleanor Oliphant: She struggles with appropriate social skills and tends to say exactly what she's thinking. Nothing is missing in her carefully timetabled life of avoiding social interactions, where weekends are punctuated by frozen pizza, vodka, and phone chats with Mummy. But everything changes when Eleanor meets Raymond, the bumbling and deeply unhygienic IT guy from her office.

Wonderful listen! I always trust Reese Book Club
Revisado: 04-21-20
I loved how the story unfolded easily and gradually. Barely a half hour toward the end, I begin to guess what was actually happening. I love the narrators way of using accents differently, and it was all clear and I was able to understand it all. For sure, don’t miss this one!

Historia
Lo Blacklock, a journalist who writes for a travel magazine, has just been given the assignment of a lifetime: a week on a luxury cruise with only a handful of cabins. The sky is clear, the waters calm, and the veneered, select guests jovial as the exclusive cruise ship, the Aurora, begins her voyage in the picturesque North Sea. At first Lo's stay is nothing but pleasant: The cabins are plush, the dinner parties are sparkling, and the guests are elegant. But as the week wears on, frigid winds whip the deck, and gray skies fall.

Historia
Strange things are happening all around Brinnswick. Things that remind me of a piece of my past I’d rather forget. Girls are being killed, drained of blood, and left with strange markings on their bodies. When I finally connect the cases together, a specialist is called in - though, what he’s a specialist of is beyond me. When the chief assigns him as my new partner for the case, I can’t help but groan on the inside. Why of all people would I be assigned to Ailin Ellwood?

I listened to 5 chapters and removed it. The story makes no sense. I refuse to waste any more time trying to figure it out.

Crotch novel
Revisado: 02-17-18
Interesting sci-fi premise. But reads like a cheap crotch novel. First few chapters were plenty enough to be bored with he wanted her body” etc.
