Started out a little slow but then was surprised how quickly the end came. I don’t know if I would have stuck with it initially if I hadn’t read it was a favorite of Barack Obama’s. I’m glad I did

The idea of this book is good and it seems I could be an excellent read. I was really disappointed though at the story of because it was just so simple. And not realistic. The main character goes with police tothe home of a character who is missing To figure out if any of her clothes is missing. No mind you this is someone with a ton of money atomic laws they want her male assistant to be able to figure out what outfits are missing. He notices that I gym shirt or shoes or something is missing in that seems to indicate there is definitely follow play. Other explanations are not explored. Isn't it possible she keeps an extra set of gym shoes in her car? What if she left the close at a friends house or in a duffel bag in her car? It was just I don't you know how to explain it. I didn't get through very much of it. If you can get past that, it might is a good book. The description of the book definitely seemed interesting.

I like how one of the author's previous books tied in to this book.
Central female character seemed naive when it comes to evaluating people/ circumstances she is close too. Looking forward to another novel. Good read... one I wanted to listen to every free minute
