Regretted the purchase
Revisado: 12-06-24
Very uninteresting story, recording quality is lacking, and the characters never gripped me. I will not purchase another of this author’s books.

Historia
Hillbilly Elegy is a passionate and personal analysis of a culture in crisis - that of white working-class Americans. The decline of this group, a demographic of our country that has been slowly disintegrating over 40 years, has been reported on with growing frequency and alarm but has never before been written about as searingly from the inside. J. D. Vance tells the true story of what a social, regional, and class decline feels like when you were born with it hung around your neck.

Historia
The bestselling Biblical fantasy novel series Chronicles of the Nephilim has opened a door for Christian imagination and theology like none other. But many have appreciated the appendices of each novel as much as the novels. Author Brian Godawa shares the Biblical and ancient historical and mythical research that undergirds the fiction. Now all those appendices have been placed together in one book for those who want serious study of the topics of the Watchers, Nephilim, and the Biblical Cosmic War of the Seed.

Inspirational and theological
Revisado: 02-15-23
Insightful, theological background to the authors novels. The author has inspired me to read additional works, and has sparked an excitement as I read the Bible through a new lens.

Historia
Best-selling Christian author Brian Godawa examines Psalm 82 to reveal its fascinating storyline of the Sons of God who surround the heavenly throne. They’re more than just angels. Way more. This booklet is author Godawa’s biblical proof for the narrative he follows in his two best-selling series Chronicles of the Nephilim and Chronicles of the Apocalypse.

I could not put it down
Revisado: 12-08-22
I found this book fascinating and very informative. It answered many questions I’ve had about difficult passages in the Bible. Most of all Brian presents what the victory of Christ Jesus means to us today and in history.

Historia
The morning of January 12, 1888, was unusually mild, following a punishing cold spell. It was warm enough for the homesteaders of the Dakota Territory to venture out again and for their children to return to school without their heavy coats - leaving them unprepared when disaster struck. At the hour when most prairie schools were letting out for the day, a terrifying, fast-moving blizzard blew in without warning. Schoolteachers as young as 16 were suddenly faced with life-and-death decisions.

Rewriting history
Revisado: 05-31-22
The author uses the historical event to promote her anti-men agenda. Additionally, in the author notes she overlays her global warming climate change political mindset on the great blizzard. Unless you enjoy a men bashing rewrite of a historical event I do not recommend this book.
