Overall I enjoyed the book. There is a lot of valuable material. The only negatives I have are:
1. The ridicules amount of plugs for his business. Way too many. The entire last chapter is a commercial.
2. Rory is such a skilled speaker (he’ll tell you that often) that at times his delivery is almost robotic. Get ready to have URLs (for his business) spelled out, letter by letter. Very annoying.

The only book I can't finish

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
Cut the book in half. I only gave it two stars because it's a best seller.
How could the performance have been better?
The author simply takes too long to get to the point. You could delete half the content and still have a valuable book.
Any additional comments?
I know this is a best seller, however, I just can't keep listening to the author bloviate on and on to make a simple point. I need the cliff-note version.. Also, trying to navigate this book is a nightmare. The table of contents is way to vague. It's practically impossible to skip around in the book for specific content.

You will never look at news the same way again. After reading (listening) to this book, you will spot a smear in a nano-second. It's pretty disgusting.

Misleading Title

I'm a fan of Newt and always impressed with his command of the subject. However, I'm disappointed in this book as it is more about history and Newt's guidance to President Trump than it is about President Trump. If you want an excellent lecture on history and government policy, this book is for you.
