Good story but still the glaring plot holes.

Overall one of the better stories in the Ryanverse but rushed at the end.

The massive failure is yet again as president Jack Ryan was nearly taken out this makes the 3rd time plus the fact he's been president since 1998 minus one 4 year break...

I keep trying to enjoy the jack Ryan Jr series but it's so hard because they do not mean anything anymore. How many times has the campus been discovered by the Chinese? In the Ryanverse we've went to war with China 4 times and every time is like the 1st. Plus the fact Jack Ryan Sr has been president since 1998 minus 4 years. Every book just feels the same maybe one day we'll have a good one.

Scott Brick is good as always.

Closure

Just really wish we'd had some closure at the end but truly it felt like Craig was tired and wanted some move on to something else. Maybe one day we'll get another spin off book.

Overall the writing was very detailed about the events. The only reason I cannot give it 5 stars is the performance. The way Vietnamese was said was so irritating on a side note I didn't know karaoke could be said like that.

I mean at this point it's laughable the last 10 books have went farther away from what Mr. Clancy. Change location, name of the villains, and repeat. Atleast they gave a nod to executive order. Poor Jr will be single for ever and Sr. will be president for another 40 years

So I started listening to the series because hey it's got lord Bray in it.

I made it thru the 1st 8 books and it just seemed like endless repeat. Did I really want to spend 6 more credits to finish it? No honestly after Africa it just got silly. The ending was just not there for such a series really was dragged out like TWD.

There was so much potential here but it was pretty much a copy and paste of the extinction series.

Just overall trash similar to the last few books in the series. Oh there's a pretty girl and she's dead. Oh let me go solo like Rambo and endanger the campus again....

Seriously there is been absolutely no character development of Jack Jr the last 5 books just copy and paste the same story. BTW Jack Sr has been President since 1996 minus that one 4 year stint when he was out.

On a positive note great performance by Scott Brick as usual.
