This reading of allegedly real blog posts written anonymously by a suspected serial killer, describing local unsolved murders in eerie detail, sounds even creepier when read out loud by a narrator who makes me feel like he may or may not be serial killer himself.

If you were only allowed one book to read about Stoicism philosophy, this would be it. And the audiobook version is even narrated very stoically by Duncan Steen.

Out of Ryan Holiday's books, "Ego is the Enemy" and "The Obstacle is the Way", this book more accurately interprets the ancient philosophy, focusing on the stories of historic icons who combatted great stresses in their lives with meditation, calmness, and sound reasoning.

As a stoicism practitioner myself, I find that Ryan Holiday eloquently adapts this ancient philosophy well with today's issues and challenges. However, I feel he interprets the stoicism philosophy much more accurately in his other audiobook, Stillness is the Key.

As a big fan of Quentin Tarantino's "Kill Bill" scored by Wu-Tang Clan's founder, RZA, this modern-day retelling of a classic kung fu tale uses the Wu-Tang sound perfectly between action-packed chapters filled with fight scenes, police raids, gangster shootouts, and five criminals fuelled by greed and superhuman powers that they probably should not have been granted. If you like kung fu films, spaghetti westerns, violent science fiction, and the gangster genre, this audiobook will get your blood pumping.
