I don’t know if these murders really happened or not but the way this audiobook was read it was very interesting. I love the way everything was based around the book club on the Cape. Some people say that those who stay on the Cape are stuck up rich snobs and this book sure makes it sound like they are. I’m hear to tell you it’s not all true, the Cape is like any other city or town…. There are winners and there are losers so moral of the story… don’t judge a book by its cover

What an eye opener

After listening to this whole series it really makes you think. Into the madness is a great name for it because that is where is brought you as you listened. Did he really do it? Was he groomed? Is that what they want you to think so you keep listening? From his chats with Jaime after his arrest all the way to the last court appearance they discuss it will definitely keep you wondering until the end.

Great all around

This was a great listen, it just goes to show what can be done when you put your mind to it. This was the 1st James Patterson book I have listened to but I will listen to more after this one.

Wow

I’m shocked but not surprised that some states don’t have parole. As a grandchild to a murdered grandfather I see the side of the families but as a human who’s not perfect I’m floored. 50 plus yrs in jail is a lifetime

What a bummer

This was an ok listen and I know there can’t always be a happy ending and things bad do happen. The problem is this book brought me down and makes me really think of all the elderly that are so lonely living out there all by themselves, talking to mice or whatever other critter they may have running around their house. It also shows what the lockdown of Covid did to not just elderly but everyone.

Now that I have no more John Milton books to listen to I had to find a replacement. This was a great listen and can’t wait to start book 2

Teamwork

Once again the teamwork between Whitney and George is like no other. Listening to the cases while getting to each person and their families has been wonderful. I’m so happy we went all the way to the day of the wedding and hope there will be more to come

John Milton for the win again

Now that I have listened to every John Milton book and don’t have another to listen to I am at a loss! John Milton helped me through my health issues while I was out of work and has become like family to me. I hope that Mark is working on the next book, in the mean time I will find another series by Dawson and hopefully David will the the narrator
