there were a few movies that I haven't seen that are mentioned in this book, and a few of them I already knew about, but it was wild to find out that these were all based on real events and not just Hollywood. highly recommend especially if you are a lover of spooky movies.

I grew up reading these books and I absolutely loved them! still just as creepy as I remembered them being.
some ove the music they have playing is a bit louder than the Narrator, and it's hard to hear what is said.
but over all 10/10!
I highly recommend owning physical copies of this collection purposely for the illustrations!

so glad i didn't have high hopes

first off, I'm a hugh Wil Wheaton fan so I automatically want to give this all the starts. but I'm only going to give the performance the 5/5.
this book gives me nothing but tron legacy vibes (which is a good movie, don't get me wrong).
but i just don't feel connected to the characters like i once did. it still has all of the 80's aesthetic. and bringing in a few 90's/late 90's references?
i honestly do not know how to say how i feel about this. i don't hate it, but i don't like/love it either. this is like watching a Halloween marathon and getting to the seaaon of the witch. it makes no sense in the series.
i probably wouldn't read this again. and i might watch the movie if they make one, but not in theaters.
