It was 74 days after my 50th birthday that I was diagnosed with a fast-growing breast cancer. What a shock! Four operations and 26 chemo sessions later, and I had to start rebuilding my life. Physically, I needed to get back to normal, I had to re-set my mind, get back to a good financial position, and then excel in all areas to ensure that “The best was yet to come”.

This is a great down to earth story of Megans cancer journey and her obvious strength of character she displays to keep smiling, laughing and having fun through it all. Having her friends cancer stories in the book gives you so much more from one book too. A great read for anyone to understand the journey that cancer patients go through and what you can do to be there for that person. And a great read for cancer sufferers who may have lost their way.
