Excellent story

For a story that got seriously dark Mayberry deftly threads the possibility of hope and success. Beautifully read this is an amazing series. just sad that I'll have to wait for the conclusion. Highly recommend.

while I can see it's flaws over description, chosen one main, it didn't matter. This was a super fun beach read. I very much enjoyed both the characters and the supporting cast. My highest compliment I stayed in the car listening to try and finish the chapter.

Where does In Death Ground rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
I was very impressed by the narrator and his ability to bring the different species to life. It was a really well done performance. The book is very engaging and I enjoyed the space battle aspect of it.
What does Marc Vietor bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
His ability to make the alien species stand out. Very impressive.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
No it's a long book and at times heartbreaking to read. With it's long campaigns and the battles that are won and lost you need to time in between.

One of the best audible narration performances I've heard.

Superb Narration

I can't gush enough over the narrator Luke Daniels. He elevates a pretty good fantasy series into something fantastic. This is why audible books can be even better than a normal read the emotion that is invoked. What a perfect pairing between story and narrator and I can't recommend this series enough.
