Wonderful...a sci fi classic.

What did you love best about Test of Magnitude?
EVERYTHING! The author created a whole new and very realistic Universe.
What did you like best about this story?
The interplay of the somewhat befuddled humans..at first..and the aliens.
Which scene was your favorite?
Battle Scene at the end..kind of reminded me of Star Wars.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
It was too long for that.
Any additional comments?
Glad to see they have the second Volume...off to get it!

Yes. Wonderful insight into what it was like in those planes.

Yes. Consistently good.

Nope..too long.
Any additional comments?
Normally I stick to Navy books but tried this for a change of pace. Glad I did. It was wonderful..tragic in places but truly showed the heroism of our boys.

Under the command of Admiral Raymond Spruance, the Fifth Fleet participated in the invasions of Tarawa and Iwo Jima and several naval battles in the Philippine Sea and the Leyte Gulf.

Yes. My husband is in the Navy and I really enjoy this kind of book..although that was then and this is now....thank goodness!

When those enemy suicide planes attacked for the first time.

I have. He's very good.

A bit of both. Laughter especially when the war ended and the occupation began.

Just a good overall experience.

Seemed like a normal good detective story until the "big reveal." If you can handle that...great story from then on. Glad to see this is just the first part of a series. Will be getting the next one ..soon.

Yes...very calming and thoughtful meditations. Simple yet profound.

No characters...non-fiction. Reader did a good job..slight English accent was nice.

Nope...did make make slow down and think, though.

I hesitated to get this because it's so short. Worth it, though. I listened to one section at a time, then took time to think and reflect before going on to the next. Made me pause and reflect on what is really important in life. Good stuff.
