This book is action packed from the beginning to the end! The end was so surprising that I listened two it three times. Wow it is worth reading over and over again.

Frighting From the Begining

What made the experience of listening to Afraid the most enjoyable?

It captures your attention right at the beginning of the story and made you afraid.

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

That it is no doubt such experimental work is going on at the government level and this could be possible.

What does Phil Gigante bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The narrator did a good job

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I was shaken at the beginning, I at first thought they were aliens.

Any additional comments?

The first chapters were captivating, but as I listened further things kind of seemed unrealistic in the way the characters were behaving. Who would believe that a entire town won the lottery? Also who would stay locked in a gym all night to pickup a check, especially if your phones and electricity does not work in the entire city. Unbelievable.

What did you love best about Blue Labyrinth?

The book grabbed me from the very beginning and kept my interest to the very end.

Constance Green's when she took actions in the garden

Have you listened to any of Rene Auberjonois’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes I have listened to all of the Pendergast books, Rene Auberjonois is excellent in his portrayal of each character.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I was riveted to the book and could hardly stop myself from listening even late into the night.

I love the book, to me it is the best one of the series, I am so looking forward to the next installment and I hope it tops this one.

Where does Cross Fire rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This captured my attention right away, I listen when I drive to work and wanted to stay in the car to listen to this book. Loved it!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Alex Cross.

Kyle Craig finally meets his end and it felt good to know his saga is over.
