Hard to get into with new voice

I enjoyed the story and it nice to understand how the Legion got started.
It was hard to stay with it after hearing RC Bray's voice for Rex.

Excellent Story of Heroism

Outstand story of the brave men that served on submarines during WWII. Craig DiLouie did his research and applied real events that happen during the war. You sometimes forget its a fictional story and want to research the names of characters, ships, and events. It's so awesome that all the books are put together as one continuous book. R.C. Bray does an exceptional job narrating the book. He really brings the story to life which at times can stir emotions in oneself. I highly recommend it. You're not going to want to stop listening.

The story of Washum is compelling. It really comes together in the epilogue and how Washum is important in the Galaxy Edge part V. it was a little different to hear a Galaxy Edge book without RC Bray but Mark Boyett grows on you as the story continues.
I feel the last chapter and epilogue sums up what many war experienced service members feel today about the brotherhood with each other.

Didn't want the book to end

First, R.C. Bray is outstanding in his narration of this story.
Jason Anspach and Nick Cole detail writing of both the Republic and the Black Force make you feel for the characters on both sides. Sometimes you're not sure who to root for. You're pulled into the feels and emotions of key characters on both side of the battle. There are some parts of the book that seem long and/or jump around but once you listen to the full thing those chapters really build a base of what is to come.
I so look forward to the next books on Audible and hope R.C. Bray narrates them.
