Not bad, but I would recommend listening to the sample before purchasing. The narrator wasn't bad, but her cadence and voice definitely took some getting used to.

Okay idea with subpar writing

The idea was solid, if predictable. It read like the fan fiction version of a story in this genre that hadn't been edited properly to make it concise with a pleasant pace and flow. The story was interesting, but it wasn't written in a way that made me want to purchase other books by this author. I was waiting for it finally make a point and end. Sometimes the narrator can save a story like this. I don't know if he added to it or made it more tedious. There were odd pauses in the middle of thoughts that I couldn't tell if they were in the material or a creative choice. It made some of the characters quite tedious to follow. Overall, this was a chore to listen to. Maybe it breaks from the Eragon mold at some point. Right now it's reads like something you listen to because it's free and you like the genre, not because it's good.

A wonderful retelling of famous and lesser known Greek myths by a master of wit and oratory. Stephen Fry did a truly noteworthy job on this book.

Need a physical book

This book contains the relevant information and does cover music theory well. However, this is based on a text book, as the reader frequently refers to "figures" and pictures in the text, that I don't have access to. Frustrating. I also looked at a similar book by this publisher and the reviews are identical, so it leaves me wondering if others have actually listened to this book. It's the kind of thing you listen to with pen and paper, not of your multitasking or out and about. Not really what I was looking for.

Solid information on a difficult topic

Epic and wonderful

This is my second time listening to this book and it's just as amazing as it was the first time. Well written, complex, and dense, this is a book I feel like I need to study to really catch everything. On top of that, 2 of my very favorite narrators are involved. This is the begining of an epic journey ilthat pulls no punches. I highly recommend this book if you enjoy large casts of characters, intricate lore and extensive magic systems.

Better the second time

So, I've listened to all of the current Harry Dresden books before and am going through the series for the second time. The first time I listened to Ghost Story, I appreciated that it was a great book and a wonderful addition to the series. I, however, had a very hard time with the other narrator. It just wasn't Harry. I have no ill will against the other guy, but bless them for re-recording this excellent story with James Marsters.
I'm definitely a fan of this series and have no other criticism as of now. This novel is a fantastic follow-up to the explosive Changes.

This is an extremely sensitive topic right now. I like how the author laid out the book with a chapter, action plan, then prayer. It was easy to use as a devotional. I have a lot of information to ponder and will probably listen to this book again.

What a ride

First off, the story was brilliant. Exactly what I wanted it to be. But, I have no idea what it would've been like without Roger Clark. I've rarely had a performance leave me this breathless. Mr. Clark made that story come alive. It was a perfect bite. I'm just really impressed with it all around.
