Research,research, research.
What other book might you compare Washington: A Life to and why?
The Last Lion: Winston Spencer Churchill. The Last Lion was longer but moved a bit more briskly, but this showed a similar grasp of the subject.
What does Scott Brick bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Narration didn't interfere with the book, which is a good thing.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
The Founding Father in three (very long) parts.

Would you try another book from Cleo Coyle and/or Rebecca Gibel?
I like Cleo Coyle, but will skip the audiobook from now on. The narration is just awful-painfully slow and melodramatic.

Didn't get that far.
What didn’t you like about Rebecca Gibel’s performance?
Waaayyyy too slow and I hate the overly dramatic performance. Just read the book, please.

I loved finding out why the reboot was made like it was.

Instead, Lay Me Down, a former racehorse with a foal close on her heels, walked right up that ramp and into Susan's life. No

Focused, well researched.
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Noah Michael Levine?
Someone who could Google how to pronounce place names.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
No.
Any additional comments?
When you get the gig to narrate a book, seems like the first thing to do would be to look up how to pronounce names. This guy gets them all wrong, from Banastre Tarleton, to the Pacolet River, to Gloucester. The last one drove me insane, because much of the last third of the book concerns York and Gloucester. It's really not that hard, folks.
